I am a little new to this game, but am surprised that no one has commented on last Friday's announcement. The share price has not moved. Can anyone explain the implications to me?

The reason for the move is that there are talks with pas about a buyout, very hush hush, even the staff , apart from a friend are in the dark

There seems to have been movement in the sector over the last couple of days. FAN also up on rumours and BS. also in the spotlight for acquisition.

Perhaps it's the start of the long awaited consolidation.

May be Wayne Rooney is having an effect on the price? (AT LAST) If sven is off to madrid, im sure he will want to tempt his england star to join him! Could be a big earner for PAS.

... this is J7 using another profile. - Just wanted to say thanks for the information, I am surprised what you say about the break out, in the bigger picture I would say I agree, but not in the very short term (10 days).. but then again, I am not a rothschild.

i am holder but dont think we have a break out yet. my stock analyser states 9bull and 7 bear indicators. admit recent director buys good sign.

Does anyone have any ideas about where this is going?
- No news for a while, apart from a change in in the directors (one of them resigning)... and yet there is no reaction, no after effect of him leaving. I would imagine that it would spark some other changes when a director leaves?...
Also seeing as this stock seems to have broken out of the downward channel, does anybody know anything?

So we now know where some of the stock has gone, but who has picked up the rest ? is this a defensive purchase ? as surely the company knows who has been stake building (if that is what has been happening over the last few week)
Whatever it is one thing for sure it is a clear positive signal that things are going well in the company.imho.

that J. Foxcroft, a director of Fox Advertising which is a wholly owned
subsidiary of the Company, purchased 2,000,000 ordinary shares and his wife, C.
Foxcroft, also a director of Fox Advertising, purchased 1,000,000 ordinary
shares in the Company on 28 April 2003. Both these purchases were at a price of
4.375 pence per share.

Looks more like a consortium of private investors who are close or have an interest. If institutions or directors were buying we would have heard by now. Given the size of some of the trades though whoever is buying must have notifiable interests soon.

Tried to buy some today: the MMs put the price up when they knew I wanted to buy.

They were quoting on 50k, and I offered only for them to put the price up!!!!

Wish I knew what is going on here, it looks in my opinion as though someone is acquiring large lumps of stock, takeover/taking private ? whatever it is there just has to be more upside so I added a few more.

PAS gets a buy recommendation in the mail today!
This may encourage a few buys on Monday.
