An alternative offer has a time limit of 10 days window post initial formal offer and must be 10% higher. If such a better offer arrives in time Pollen Street can go tango.

DBAY - can not see them having made irrevocable acceptance with their 17.27%. Others have. Offer needs 75%+ acceptance and they have 47.1% so far. DBAY are about 7.8% short of being able to block it but 7.8% is not that much!!

If DBAY want full control they need to offer 10% more within the time window or have another 7.8% vote against with them.

If DBAY were OK with the offer why didn't they give and irrevocable undertaking - I can't see one. Lombard and Gresham have done so.

Game on?

From what I can see DBAY haven't given an irrevocable undertaking yet??
If they and some other say no they could have a problem reaching the necessary % voting yes.

Well done for keeping the faith cold and I’ve appreciated yours and p1nks inputs over the last 18 months-2 years. I’m glad you’ve both made healthy profits.

Both glad & sad at the same time.
It's over.
I will cash-out and move on.

Good news at long last, what a timely buy that I commented on on posts 11452 and 11454, those results were not enough to chuck a quarter of a million into this. I wish I had had the courage of my convictions as I thought something might be afoot. Still a handsome profit and I would like to say thanks to pink for his continued commentary even when he went bear! What is the timeline for this transaction? Has anyone looked at the alternative offer instead of taking the cash? My thought being that this will now be turned around quickly and the alternative offer might be worth considerably more in a couple of years.

No doubt DBAY were also bidding but wanted it dirt cheap. Still, Bidco have got abit of a bargain here IMO.

I thought it would get taken out at something like 40% premium to average over prior 30 day average closing price - or something like that. This is much better than I thought likely. GLA.

Will sell ASAP and move on.

This has been a massive return for me. Had enough hanging about, I love UK companies that can grow but this was stretching my patience to the limit.

Time to move on. Do hope they don't lay many people off.

Well done all. I have to admit I got disillusioned by the whole thing and sold last week (at a small loss too!) :( Extremely bad / unlucky timing on my part. Tap water for me tonight.

Pleased for the likes of cureboy here. As some of you will have seen on the board, I bought in 2 months ago and genuinely thought I was sat on an absolute dog, whilst he always kept me from selling with his positive but honest opinions. I owe you a drink Mr. Christ what a day, this and AMGO. Ive now sold. GL to you guys.

Well done to all who held. I hold over 60k at a 35p average so while I was hoping for over £1, I will take it and put my profits elsewhere.
