The curious thing is that these guys have circa 500 underlying investments IPO who are flying at preent have less than 100 and ALM have 5!...lol

PEQ hands cash back irregularly where as IPO and ALM are unlikely to.
So IMHO PEQ is the better investment.

The expectation of another tender offer is the only thing PEQ has going for it; though, as at the bid price of 184p the discount = 22%; perhaps that tender offer when it comes around again makes it all worthwhile!

NAV in $ terms down another 0.6% in December. They just don't seem to gain any traction; been a poor performance throughout 2014, with the exception of that little Twitter bonus:

NAV for November rises 2.6% to 233.43p. Only a 0.44% rise in $ terms, but the exchange rate moved from 1.60 to 1.566, hence the Sterling improvement.

Takes the discount up to 19.9% - quite high for PEQ, especially as we are now more than half way through to the next likely Tender in May'15...

A nice little bonus. Today's RNS says that a small indirect holding in Twitter adds c7.6p to the underlying NAV. Hope they sell it fast!

Yes, but that is true of many of the PE trusts - tends to ensure further growth to come; but with PEQ...

Still, their tender policy remains a big positive for shareholders.

Hmmm difficult to compare Skyship I dont know any fund with as many underlying (look through) holdings (500(?)) or one thats returning cash as well. Happy to hold IMHO.
