Can't really complain about the CEO and his Bentley, after all, as a wise poster once commented...

"My feeling is they can do anything they like"

and... they certainly did

Yes, I was also a bit overconfident here but agree it could still come good.

I'm semi serious about the car red flag.
Ian Cassel of micro cap club who I follow on twitter mentions it here:

Lol could be! They do seem to be signing up clinics but of course we don't know how many/how quickly. I've been somewhat fortunate here as built a big stake but fortunately was buying below £1. Managed to sell large part at various prices on the way up and down and made a decent return. However can't escape the fact that really I made an error in being so confident here. One to reflect on further. Like I said though it could definitely still come good but the price drift and lack of news are not great.

I hasn't even noticed the drift downwards over the last week or two. This is a small part of my portfolio these days. No plans to ditch my remaining holding (maybe foolishly) as I do think there is a potentially winning business in here. I want to see the next update. Understand the sentiments by poster above re institutions and trust.

It's difficult to see how Institutions would ever trust this Board again..

... but at least they managed some decent pay packets and share sales eh?

Regards to all.

FWIW I have to admit I have sold down a fair amount here since the last update - I was very overweight before so just a bit of risk management.

I still have a pretty decent sized holding and if the next update shows all is on track I will be buying more again.

PL I'm not really bothered what you do. You did some good research here. I think your outrageous revenue/profit forecasts on threads and incessant posting followed by sudden silence gives a certain impression though.Like I said I don't really care as I make my own decisions and have never taken a tip or followed a punter in my life.

Now let's just clear the air here.

I started this thread at 28P 27 months ago in good faith.

That's a five bagger.( if you want to sell right now )

However it's been a great deal higher 4P off a ten bagger.

Most never do that in a lifetime.

PVG put out a poor trading statement just 6 weeks after the directors sold heaps of their shares to institutions.

Now just ask yourself this one question. ?

Do you not think those same institutions did not do a great deal of research prior to buying, i think over £5M worth of shares.

They bought at what they thought was a good price £2.25p

Please don't look to me for blame, it was not I, that disappointed.

This may still turn out very well with more time.

I also own shares in PVG

Looks like Killik and co are buyers but agreed it's probably for individuals.

Killing and co and Hargreaves hale are sellers probably on behalf of individual clients

My understanding is 2 to 3 times more profitable.

Let's hope that run rate of pets on plan is starting to build!!!

Seems to be alot of positivity coming out of the US now...

Yes I saw that - if we assume about a 10% fee for PVG then they may well be getting double what they get in the UK, which we estimated to be £20 ish previously. I guess that's why the US market is attractive - much bigger market and more profitable.

Following the latest update I asked the company again for any more details on the changes they were making in the US and got this reply.

'The solutions that we are implementing to address some of the different customer needs in the US are commercially sensitive. A number of the solutions are now implemented and we will report further progress to the market in due course.'

Not that surprised they won't provide specific details. Hopefully we will see the changes bear fruit in the coming months.
