Sorry I meant more that one would expect more detail on each territory and what's happening.

Can't see the results being that positive as they have been so quiet on the reason for the delay in America. Anyone heard anything?

Premier Pet Care Plan was eating dinner at Texas de Brazil (Detroit).

What do you do after you meet with one of the largest practices in MI and get a signed contract. You celebrate by eating a nice dinner.
Great job Louis Boccio and James Tudor!

bigglesbingham: I could not see a connection. Is he going to use Pet Lover's hound to sniff out oil deposits in papua new guinea? (I'm not back in - I'm just watching at present)

Thanks 1hjones, I'd just noticed that Investec target too.
I tend to agree. I think the wording in the update may have been misinterpreted as being something very serious when it is probably more around tweaking the offering for optimal rollout - at least I hope so :)

All form the reserch I have done on this and I have been following this stock for a while is there is no major model flaw.

Certainly no issues with a variene in laws by state.

There is also plenty of evidence that clients are signing up PVG have proved that as have Banfields!

I am sure this more about the challenges dealing with large volumes of independant vets.

Investec ajusted their target price to 305GBX from 336GBX and maintained a BUY rating so can't be to big an issue.

I've had a reply from the company as follows:
'We are in the middle of a closed period at present and are finalising our results for the six months ended 31 March 2017. As announced in our trading update we will be releasing these results on 23rd May 2017 and will provide further details of our business development in each region with these results.'

Hopefully we'll hear more details on the 23rd then but I'll contact the company again if not.

It's the statement saying effectively their business model doesn't work in US which worried me. It may be a little glitch but for gods sake tell us.

Yes, it doesn't look great. They sold up to 1,000 plans in the December ending quarter, yet it supposedly took them 3-6 months to identify the problem.

Mr Dexy, yes that is very questionable. This difference between US and UK needs to be addressed and fast if the management are not to lose all credibility.

As the there was no mention in the trading update on the 3rd March... and the Directors managed to get 2.35m shares away @ 225p on the 10th March...I guess the difference with the US market has only come to light in the last few weeks.

Regards to all.

I've been in touch with the company today asking about the difference between the US and UK models.
I hope to get a response from the CFO tomorrow as indicated and will post any info if I'm able to.

Before that we need to know why proven U.K. Business model doesn't work in states.

He points out the additional risk here now. That's fair enough. Not a good day! They need to demonstrate some significant traction now over next 6 months or market won't believe the story.

..and Paul Scotts's latest piece is now up, doesn't add much to the trading update:
