11/7/2017 12:46 | Good point Rivaldo. The Electrical Services part of the Group make up c40% of Group Revenue and 50% of EBITA, and could be a big beneficiary from all the work which will now be required. I can't believe I have managed to buy some today at a price cheaper than I payed in the Placing last week. It seems bizarre that the forecast EPS for FY18 has increased by 12% after the BEST acquisition, but the price per share has since dropped more than 10%! The FY18 Fcst P/e has consequently dropped from 15.6 to 12.6 in barely a week. A p/e of 12.6 seems remarkably cheap for a company which has delivered double digit organic revenue growth for the last 10 years in succession (which have not been the easiest 10 years the world economy has ever known!), is relatively unleveraged and appears to have strong and improving prospects. | simso
10/7/2017 10:27 | nice spot Rivaldo. Could be an even better year ! | panic investor
10/7/2017 09:30 | Hounslow Council have issued a £4m tender for fire safety work - the first such post-Grenfell. Lots more to come. PTSG now provide exactly such services: "Fire Services PTSG offer a tailored service for a range of fire prevention and suppression systems in facilities and buildings. From initial design and feasibility, through to installation, testing, replacement, maintenance and certification, PTSG provide services from a network of UK service centres including fire alarms, sprinklers, dry risers, emergency lighting and fire extinguishers." "Hounslow’s bill comes despite it only having one 13-storey block whose cladding failed safety tests. That suggests the bill for worse-affected councils with higher towers, will run into the tens of millions, bringing windfalls for contractors. Cladding samples on more than 180 high rises across the UK so far have failed combustibility tests." | rivaldo
05/7/2017 14:06 | Cheers Simso. | rivaldo
05/7/2017 09:44 | Hi Rivaldo, yes I couldnt believe it when I saw you here yesterday! Lets hope its a case of "Great minds think alike", rather than "fools seldom differ!" ;-). Numis are at 8.7p for 2017 and 9.2p for 2018. | simso
05/7/2017 09:19 | Many thanks simso - and good to see we have another stock in common now :o)) Do you have the new EPS figures for this and next year from Numis - I'm guessing they're now around 9.2p EPS? Another new contract: "PTSG recharges Stornoway’s batteries Premier Technical Services Group PLC (PTSG) has delivered a rope access team to Battery Point Power Station in Stornoway to carry out high-level work at three of the station’s chimneys. etc" | rivaldo
05/7/2017 07:46 | Broker upgrade from Numis this morning, EPS increased by 12% and a new price target of 165p. I bought in yesterday as it looks very good value on the dip following the placing. It looks a very logical acquisition which is eps accretive and consolidates PTSG as clear number 1 in their field. | simso
04/7/2017 15:07 | Just bought a few more at 121.9p - bargain :o)) The IC say Buy: "Shares in niche specialist services provider Premier Technical Services Group (PTSG) have risen more than 2 per cent this morning following the announcement of lightning protection company Best for a maximum consideration of £20m. The Aim-listed company will look to raise £15m through a non-pre-emptive cash placing to fund the acquisition. PTSG say the acquisition provides complementary geographic coverage, as BEST has strong operations in Scotland and the West of the UK. Lightning protection sits within PTSG’s electrical services division, which accounted for 45 per cent of overall revenues at the last full year results. Buy." | rivaldo
04/7/2017 12:33 | Placing RNS just out - placed at 120p. I was hoping for around 125p at best and fearing 110p-115p at worst, so not bad at all. | rivaldo
04/7/2017 08:49 | It's usually within a few hours, so shouldn't be long. Given PTSG's reasonable rating, plus the attractiveness of the acquisition, one would hope the fundraising is just a formality and should be at a similarly reasonable price. | rivaldo
04/7/2017 08:28 | Any idea when they tell us when the book is closed - usually the same day | panic investor
04/7/2017 07:41 | Much excitement this morning - a big and highly earnings-enhancing acquisition funded by a placing. Let's hope the bookbuild comes good with a small if any discount to the current price. | rivaldo
03/7/2017 19:58 | Numis' target price has been £1.25 since 16th September 2016. Not sure the switch from N 1 Singer is helping private investors. N 1 Singer gave three update H2 2015. V happy with the share price performance. | rogers8

21/6/2017 23:05 | Nice - 28,000 shares bought today at 137p, a full 2p above the published 135p offer price. Very keen indeed. | rivaldo
20/6/2017 11:11 | Hopefully limbering up for new highs here. Meanwhile, a contract win to supply "lightning protection, surge protection and earthing systems to a range of commercial and residential properties in" a 150 acre area in Medway: And PTSG are the "most nominated business" at the 2017 Facilities Management awards for the third year running: | rivaldo
19/6/2017 12:06 | Google not updating prices which makes a change from LSE not updating graphs. | fizzypop
19/6/2017 11:46 | Finally :o)) I can't believe it took so long for the price to tick up. | rivaldo
19/6/2017 07:35 | Thanks riv, glad I topped up recently. | fizzypop
19/6/2017 07:26 | Excellent AGM statement - "the Group has seen continuing sales growth and strong levels of orders in the year to date. Working capital utilisation and profit levels are also in line with the Board's expectations": Plus successful integration of acquisitions, high renewal rates and the likelihood of further acquisitions: "The Board is confident that the business is in a strong position to continue to grow both organically and through carefully selected acquisitions, which seek to achieve sector dominance in our chosen areas of operation." | rivaldo |
