janeann - I think you can rely on the management being proactive, news last results that divisions reorganised and staffing increased from 400 to 650 I seem to recall. They have an effective and efficient in-house IT system that has won industrial awards. Also an onsite response to a customer enquiry within 2 hours anywhere in the UK. Trust in the management.

Here's Corbyn doing some bandwagon-jumping - still, it shows that this is a £1 billion opportunity for PTSG and others if and when sprinkler systems are more widely introduced:

"Corbyn demands £1bn fund for tower block sprinklers
November 9 2017, 9:00am,
The Times

Jeremy Corbyn has urged the chancellor to set aside £1 billion to fit sprinklers on all tower blocks owned by councils and housing associations.

In the wake of the Grenfell Tower fire, many town halls have been told to fund their own retrofits because the government deems them non-essential. Sprinkler systems are fitted in only one in 50 socially owned high rises.

The Labour leader will tell Philip Hammond, the chancellor, to provide money for a retrofitting programme in the budget this month. Sprinklers are only mandatory on new builds more than 30 metres high but fire experts believe that the Grenfell fire could have been prevented if sprinklers had been included in the block’s £8.6 million refit.

London’s fire chief is among the senior figures who want the Grenfell public inquiry to recommend a retrofitting programme. “This can’t be optional, it can’t be a ‘nice to have’, this is something that must happen,” Dany Cotton [COR], commissioner of the London fire brigade, said in September.

Whitehall sees retrofitting sprinklers as an optional measure to be funded by councils and housing associations, many of whom say that they cannot afford it....

.....Figures released under freedom of information laws found that 2 per cent of social housing blocks had full sprinkler systems. In England they were only installed in 0.6 per cent of council blocks, according to a 2015 study by Inside Housing......"

Another maintenance contract:

Premier Technical Services Group PLC (PTSG) has been awarded a contract to provide repair and maintenance services to access equipment the 7 More building on Tooley Street in London.

Specialist engineers from PTSG’s Access and Safety division will carry out a biannual LOLER inspection on the site’s scissor lift platform in April 2018, having already completed a successful inspection in October this year.

Completed in 2010, the 7 More building was the first major office in the UK, and the first building in the capital, to be awarded the BREEAM ‘outstanding’ rating. To achieve the rating, the site at 7 More London had to meet or exceed a challenging score of 85 per cent against strict criteria. To achieve this, architects included environmental innovations such as 80 per cent recycled aggregate within the concrete used, and the recycling of waste heat to cool and warm the building.
