04/1/2017 16:57 | Strong closing auction caused by over half a million 'buy at market' orders Shows either someones confident, or the pace of shorters wanting to exit is hotting up imho | nav_mike
04/1/2017 16:38 | Few Aggravated shorters today! | bakedbean57
04/1/2017 16:28 | Primary risks: Oil might fall back (mitigated as much as any oil sector long can hope for following OPEC and N-OPEC) Fiscal restructure (which should dissipate in the coming week(s) as Premier close and confirm) Catcher (which the company is telling us is ahead of budget and schedule. Will be repeated on 12th January) Solan (which is seemingly reliant on P2 doin' the do) IMO the picture will be looking vastly different in the very near future. Within the realms of sensibility the company (indeed along with the broader oil market, and FX markets on top of that) would have pretty much done all that it can to justify a re-rate. ...a re-rate which the company should take little joy in as the share price has been an embarrassment for over a year. It did annoy me when Tony was taking the glory for gains from 19p with Malcy though -EoN deal or no. (shakes fist) | manics
04/1/2017 16:22 | Come on bulls, need to step up to the plate, "man up", and take out 79p, for a glorious upside breakout! | ny boy
04/1/2017 16:02 | Looks like a lot of upside in the sector this year. Just needs to take out 79p! | ny boy
04/1/2017 16:01 | A close at 77p or so with no big surprises with POO over next few days should see this break the important 80p I think this week. | adg
04/1/2017 16:00 | Must say that I am feeling quietly confident that we will see quite strong gains this month assuming the debt restructuring doesn't hold any surprises. a gain of +50% within weeks of any favourable announcement is very easily achievable imo. (see what Tullow did after their initial -10% overreaction to to 200p after their refinancing RNS - now + 60% or so at 330p) | adg
04/1/2017 14:49 | Nearly there, the short covering rally above 79p could be explosive mixed with general bull buying. GKP I reckon will triple fr 135p over the short term too. Dyor as usual | ny boy
04/1/2017 14:03 | Fed mins could help boost equities today, maybe enough to finally crack 79p long time resistance Anon mous. ..hasn't term time started yet? | ny boy
04/1/2017 10:31 | I'm still trying to get over the 0.3% crash today... | bakedbean57
04/1/2017 08:55 | from the Buffalo? | deanroberthunt
04/1/2017 08:26 | let's just agree to disagree....ok dood. Marvin, told ya the overnight POO was a storm in a teacup Oil is now in a bull market, and in a bull market, bad news is ignored and good news cheered | deanroberthunt
04/1/2017 08:14 | Pmo were producing 83000 in November How many boepd are enq producing now? Not the end of 2017 estimate but currently ? | leoneobull
04/1/2017 07:58 | Kraken is heavier oil, which fetches less. Its production will not jump until end of 2017 and by then PMO will be 100000 plus. The motley fool churns out poor research and Dean's article epitomises this with several inaccuracies. | leoneobull
04/1/2017 07:58 | got me thru university.... | deanroberthunt
04/1/2017 07:29 | thanks... strange looking tub this...! | steve73
04/1/2017 07:12 | It is a nice boat. | manics
04/1/2017 07:10 | "Unfortunately, unless oil prices jump to $100 a barrel in the next six months, Enquest and Premier aren't likely to achieve mind-blowing growth any time soon" they don't need to, when you are capped at £500m, almost to go bust, all you need to do is prove you can survive, and then it's a 4-5 bagger just back to fair value, based on future 9-12+ month POO and fwd production numbers. and that applies to both. | deanroberthunt
04/1/2017 07:08 | dean - have you got any piccies showing progress of BW Catcher - much more relevant.. | steve73 |
