...of course, just another guy, another view. Seems to chime with what some chartists are seemingly thinking however. Technicals can be self fulfilling imo.

Re: Debt reductionContrariwise 2UPThanks Beatley, that's very helpful. I have checked in the last half yearly report and I think that you are right:Operating costsCost of sales comprise cost of operations, changes in lifting positions, inventory movement, royalties and amortisation and depreciation of property plant and equipment ("PP&E"). They have a number for operating costs of $16.5 per barrel excluding interest payments. Plugging that number into my calculation, keeping oil at $55 bbl and production at a conservative 75k bopd free cash flow for 2017 comes in at $460m after accounting for G&A of $30m, interest expenses of $160m and capex of $400m. As per your calculation free cash flow rises substantially with every extra barrel produced. If they can sort the debt restructuring PMO is left as a very highly geared play on the oil price - I like it. Thanks for your help

The penny is dropping. Here is a post from Advfn Re: Debt reductionBeatley 4UPHi Contrariwise,I have OPEX costs at an average of $18 a barrel. I believe the $25, which I presume you've taken from Premier's reports, are the all in cash costs. From what I remember the $25 includes interest payments, but excludes CAPEX.My own model is similar to your own, yet I have production at an average of 80,000bpd per day and obviously the key difference in OPEX costs. I've assumed no production from catcher until 2018 and therefore end up with a debt reduction of $529m for this year. For 2018, and with catcher pumping, I have free cash flow at $750m, assuming an increase in CAPEX to 500m to start the Tolmount development, and oil at $60.Happy to be corrected on the OPEX costs if I'm wrong?Regards,Beatley
