adg: I had a look at that artist. The art is like £160. Doesn't prove much imo.

Why don't you take a snap on your phone. In the foreground a bit of paper: "$£$adg straight thuggin'$£$"

Host it up to imgur (which automatically strips out all of the EXIF image data by the way, so you can't be traced) then post it here.

img src="imgur link to your photo remembering to put part of the http in uppercase"

put all of that in between a < at the start then a > at the end yo'. Photo with the motors in the background or something. I dunno. Takes 40 seconds. You don't have to download anything just upload your photo.

Bite my tongue constantly with you Andy... (not stan as he is just a tool)

"The boards are full of halfwits who never accept they are wrong, some who are extremely successful individuals who commission art and others who are much more qualified than you or me and work in the city."

PM me and I will prove beyond any doubt whatsoever your scepticism, maybe even get an apology?

I doubt very much that your inability to post without any sarcasm will improve. Even your 'Good Luck' sign off has a feel of sarcasm each and every time.

Seriously - contact me privately and i will prove you 100% wrong.

Brilliant business by PMO then, with a bit of luck the logs will be decent but remain cautious: didn’t 88 spaff a small fortune on Winx?

So, when the oil price recovers to 40-50$ bbl ConocoPhillips buyout Premier’s share of C2, <4$ per bbl but a really excellent result for Premier, more than halving debt and ‘oiling’ the way for new developments. 88 are skint and will be swallowed: possibly by Conoco but more probably another major.

AndyGreat summary, cant imagine who you are referring to.Oil shares were obviously a bigger sell since early feb than then they were when Saudi decided to flood the market/Iran obama deal four years ago.Anyway, everyone knows that now. best

PMO wont announce anything until wireline is done. Need official wireline data.

Next phase, as per the plan, wireline logging to chose the best 1 or 2 zones of the primary Torok targets to frac and flow test.

At this moment in time all you can have with this formation is oil shows, the wireline logging will determine what portions will flow, then you frac as planned, then you flow test.

Flow test successful you have net oil pay.

So next week for logging results, then move to flow test. One or two of them. Frac and flow test around 14 days each if two.

So news w/c 6th April for Logging results.

News w/c 20th April for 1st frac and flow test.

News w/c 4th May for 2nd frac and flow test if they do two.

Certainly looks promising for 88E/PMO.

The key giveaway is the word pleased.......based on the last well.....and this well.....things look strong for Charlie-1

As posted by Alistair - update from the largest onshore well in 2020, the joint PMO/88E Charlie-1 well in Alaska.

Excellent, I did think they would be into the Torok late last week, and we had significant buying late last week.

They are pleased........thats a good start. Hate RNS when they dont say pleased :)

Shows and elevated log response over several horizons....thats good.

Means their pre drill geologic modelling is good.

The next phases will be, all being well.

Full wireline logging suite. Initial analysis.

Choose the best one or two zones in the Primary Torok targets to frac.

Perform the frac.

Flow test the chosen one or two zones to prove flow from vertical (target 100bopd from vertical which will mean horizontals in the future as production test wells).

Given the massive amount of data they have from the older wells, 3D, inversion and now this well - if they proceed to frac and flow then we should be pretty bolted on its good one. Just wait for the next news - proceed to frac and flow test and the party starts in earnest imo :)

Stanley,
The stupidity on these boards never ceases to amaze.
It was clear from the middle of February, if not sooner, that the Coronavirus would hit the developed world hard yet we saw so many in denial topping up all the way down, we even had a GP on here claiming it was all media hype, can you believe that?
The boards are full of halfwits who never accept they are wrong, some who are extremely successful individuals who commission art and others who are much more qualified than you or me and work in the city.
The best lesson in investing is taking a hit, you live to trade another day.
TA has one place in these testing times and that is in the bin.
Then we have the pumpers like we have witnessed today, a 13.5% down day makes PMO look like a safe bet!
There will no doubt be some hype about Trump and Putin having a conversation but the demand side has gone beyond what production cuts can fix.
But don't worry 88e will save them, RNS released down under.
Good luck all.

Take GKP and GENL........the Iraqi government is bankrupt and cannot pay them, so they are producing and incurring overheads for no income.

They can only run on the bank cash for so long before it runs out.

They would both be better off stopping producing and mothballing - their cash pile will last longer that way and see them through to the other side of this crisis.

Nope, because Peru is a net importer, so all Peruvian oil is used - thats why for PTAL they can sell all their production locally. When I say sell your oil, I mean those who rely on others buying it, in the most the net exporters.

You need to look for companies now who produce for local market and where the local market is below country demand - the net importers.

Those who rely on export sales will soon get smashed when global storage is full.

Its a fascinating situation now. Fireworks soon when global storage gets near full.

So if nobody can sell oil that includes PTAL.
up just a little bit

Trouble with hedges, they only work if you can sell the oil.

If global storage is full, and nobody is buying.......nobody can sell oil and all those producers without a guaranteed buyer, will have to shut in their production and move to zero.

Simple really, if you cannot sell and cannot store it - you have to stop producing it.
