UK will talk to Argentina about Falkland Islands at G20 according to todays Daily Mail. First visit of a Prime Minister to Buenos Aires since the war in 1982. Argentina is keen for good relationship with UK apparently :



Trump will talk to China about trade.

And Bloomberg says real Opec meeting will be the G20:

We need to get back over about 70p to avoid relegation. 8 trading days to do so...

I see DNO have made a pass at Faroe Pet... for 152p.. somewhat less than the 170 they were at in Oct.. although at a 20% premium to todays price.

FPM are a "similar" order of m-cap to us (90% of PMO's), although they only produce 14kboepd, with about 1/5 of our reserves... and no debt. It just show's how much damage our debt does to us.

With the recent hedges PMO should be just ok for 2019 assuming Oil doesn't fall under $50, albeit residing in the FTSE250, unless we get a 50% bounce before the 5th...but the problem will be if Oil remains low into 2020...over to OPEC

And to put things in perspective.

2018Q2
Highest: 80.50 Lowest: 66.69 Average: 74.97

2018Q3
Highest: 82.87 Lowest: 70.30 Average: 75.84

2018Q4 to Nov 24th 2018
Highest: 86.74 Lowest: 58.41 Average: 75.19

So assuming a rebalance of Brent to around $70 in December, the average Brent price for this quarter seems set for around $71/72.

hoper... In the years I've been following PMO, I've never seen them hedge much more c. 30%, so we look to be well set-up for 2019, with little more hedging necessary for then.
If there are any 2018 hedges remaining, they'll certainly be higher than the present O/P.

marky - Only about 30% is hedged and any hedging done in the last few weeks would have been done at a lot lower price. So the POO will affect the share price significantly.

Maybe the company are planning a deeply discounted rights issue to help clear the debt. That is one possibility, but more likely to be combination of poor sentiment on poo and shorting.
