I see Waste2Tricity is cancelling and reducing its share premium account.

Presumably this will be used to reduce the accumulated losses of £1,126,394 shown in their last filed accounts.

The delayed filed 2018 accounts, where they reduced the accounting reference date by one day and then benefitted by delaying filing the accounts by up to three months, will need to be filed by 28 April.

Will these show trading profits or losses?

Of course I expected you to jump in to respond, lagosboy, and of course you didn't disappoint. Clearly you have no idea what a prototype is for.

sensitive data for competitors !!!!! heard it all now.

How can performance data be sensitive, surely it the technology that drives that performance that is sensitive and given they have not even bothered to protect it, I don't expect its all that special nor difficult to copy.

Thornton park is not accessible 24/7 to dumper trucks delivering mixed plastics and tyre crumble.

That's why no updates on performance. Its all pixie dust.

shieldbug: They have used the prototype at Thornton Park to test a wide variety of feedstocks, mainly types of plastics and also tyre crumb, gathering data for computer simulations, and determining the various processing methods for the different feedstocks to generate different mixtures of syngas.

At Thornton Park they are using a gas generator to generate electricity for the local grid. I assume that the process will not be running day and night because this is not a commercial unit, just a prototype, but at least it proves that the technology works. Which of course is disputed by some on this BB.

Obviously they haven't released the technical detail of what they have done, nor the results, because that would be sensitive data for competitors.

And I can see that David Ryan the new CEO was responsible for implementing the demonstration unit. From his Linkedin profile "Managing the implementation of the Powerhouse Modular Gasification Process at the University of Chester Energy Centre – developing the commercial units for international operation 2018."

David Ryan's hesitant public speaking style is not very reassuring. The questions at the end are the most interesting part of this presentation

So to partially answer my own question - "Its demonstration clean energy generation plant has been used to provide electricity for the Energy Centre at the University’s Thornton Science Park microgrid" -

I cannot find any supporting documentation to shown what was actually achieved there.

Is there anything like an energy equation for the proposed process? I mean it may be possible to get hydrogen out but at what cost of inputs? Are they working with a university to do the research? I would have thought if this was a sensible process universities would be ideal research partners.

I do begin to question, especially within a vacuum of technology updates whether or not Phe actually has something of any value whatsoever.

The market clearly thinks not given its valuation. The bulls on here believe it has global potential to solve the worlds plastics and tyre mountain problems, despite its current market valuation.

Now gasification is hardly a new concept but it is one that has never been commercially viable despite considerable sums having been invested. I strongly suspect that the Phe unit rather than being a superior product is most likely the opposite, an inferior product to those that have gone before it. That would certainly explain the lack of any meaningful protection and the other shenanigans of the past.

Cash must be running down fast and still no sign of any interest of significance, by that I mean a real a funding commitment not an IPO document based on hot air and gas. We can all produce numbers and projections to the cows come home.

I now strongly suspect that Phe will soon be a puff of smoke and will disappear before our very eyes.

Even the CEO recently jumped ship.

No revenues, steady dilution, nothing to sell, needs more cash, a clear short.

No shorts on Phe of any note and nor has there ever been - just check the monthly information released by AIM or do some proper research.

linesal, i suspect you are 'watsthepoint' aka warwick. what are you trying to achieve? the best time to short this, if you're of that persuasion, is on those brief occasions that the share price saunters over 0.5p - whereupon a placing normally happens, and the share price duly retreats owing to the demonstrable lack of progress

There are always lemmings and mushrooms.Your only function is to provide an aftermarket into which trusted places and other receivers it the shares can dump their stock. It remains however a classic short.
