29/11/2002 08:20 | Sure is. The fact that they are getting support from governments for this technologies shows how serious these guys are. I don't think people have woken up to fuel cell technology yet. | ![]() parvez
29/11/2002 08:12 | The power of the future. A definate commercial winner. | selly
29/11/2002 08:02 | The key here is fuel cell technology - quite a niche market and good to see that they are ahead of the game. | ![]() parvez
29/11/2002 07:57 | yesterdays announcement that Porvair is having better than expected reults from its R&D spend, which has led to some significant orders, looks likely to push the share price futher skywards today. The traditionally illiquid share has an excellent Dividend yield at this level alone, and many Directors have been filling their boots for a free ride in the last few months. I rate this share as a strong buy. limited downside. | selly
29/11/2002 00:52 | Plenty of upside lookin at the chart checkout PEA im on a roll. on the verge of a breakout DYOR etc regards | divina

29/11/2002 00:35 | 112 to buy maestro | selly
29/11/2002 00:34 | The director buying just before this announcement is a bit cheeky. | selly
29/11/2002 00:29 | i'm interested in this stock...must be excellent value at this price..i'm getting 100p to buy on teletext | maestro.

27/11/2002 19:55 | smallish director buy. This one might be due a bounce looking at the chart. One im watching | divina
20/11/2002 07:53 | bbbbb - The price has been knocked with the rest of the Market. Which gives an even bigger reason to be bying at this level. I think that the downside from here is limited with an upside potential which is huge. On that basis alone they are worth a long term punt. | selly
19/11/2002 11:09 | Rumour has it that the fuel sell technology is going to show some dividends next year, not in the fuel sell market, but in off shoots which take advantage form the new materials being produced. From what I have heard they are looking at the technology to start paying for it self within the next 3 years. | dolphinspirit
18/11/2002 17:09 | Selly, your thoughts were my thoughts a year ago when the price was over £2.00. Still not sure why the share slump happened as badly as it did. Re R&D spend, the last couple of statements have seen increased R&D spend so I'm now looking to see some of the fruits of this spend flow throgh onto the balance sheet rather than more 'jam tomorrow'. When/if this happens then we should see some share price movement. | bbbbb
13/11/2002 08:34 | With the commercial viability of Fuel Cells becoming ever apparent, and Porvair's R&D investment into various porous metals for components into Fuel Cells, its no wonder that I rate this stock as a Strong long term performer. Underpinning the R&D spend at Porvair is a profit making business of ceramics and other specialist metals. I would say that downside is limited even if the full potential of Fuel Cells in society is realised. | selly |
