16/7/2006 13:58 | Smallchange The reason why you´re getting short thrift over here is because some of us have dificulty in believing that between Tony Palmer, who I understand was once top dog at Taylor Woodrow and major shareholder David Cicurel who I think also has extensive property experience and is friends with other very, very, very wealthy and experienced property investors, the company has managed to negotiate some sort of lease that means our land (and in DC´s case his investment) is now worthless. Also, in the past some of your information hasn´t been very accurate and you don´t seem to be particularly specific. | arthur_lame_stocks

05/7/2006 16:30 | Arthur, re the valuations IIRC at the time the co. said they had some sort of tentative approach which indicated that it might even have a value significantly above the top of the range. I'm assuming they were referring to Gallagher since they own the adjoining site. I suppose there are scale economies in developing a larger site not to mention that Gallaghers won't wish to start marketing luxury appartments with an ajoining tile plant for which no development plans have yet been submitted. | actonman
05/7/2006 13:42 | The decision on the bridge must be due soon, surely. If that´s approved I hope they will just sell the land. What more can they do? I think most of us just want an exit at the best possible price now. | arthur_lame_stocks

27/6/2006 10:49 | McKay securities sold 10.5 acres in Chobham, yesterday, with planning for 54 house units - gives me hope that Poole with I believe 200 apartments being planned, plus the water view premium, should give rise to a higher value. Any thoughts? | fhmktg
21/6/2006 11:35 | I just saw this on the Beeb. Worth noting that Poole is down as one of the areas where extra housing will be provided. Bodes well for us I reckon. | arthur_lame_stocks
