I am missing some trading opportunities here - but I'm not taking the risk of selling for these sort of prices.

I don't think we will be seeing them again for along time, if ever. Quite annoying watching the conveyor belt go by though - 'come and have a look at what you could have won' as per the late great Jim Bowen...

Not selling any of these, or FRES. As you say, roll on next week.

Not really - more of a silver miner than POLY maybe (silver $28, near 5 year high and climbing - I mean look at FRES soaring...😒)

It probably has to do with the bond yield curve. Any increase in yields spooks the gold market.

the problem with this one is that its one of the stocks IG wants to stop offering as a CFD/spread bet so clients are forced to liquidate I think - what's the current dividend yield here? is this a pure silver play or they also have gold?

There is a fair bit more to it than that Mick, but it's true it's not as smooth and simple as this is.

If you do want to think longer term, there is a good overview of their prospects in the link below, and obviously they will update with the results as well. Slide 40 is probably what you have seen - gold production declines to 2022, but just over the horizon, slide 39, shows the real story - the Orisyvo mine coming on stream - 180+ koz p.a., or around 25% of current gold production. And obviously silver production continues to grow throughout.




I have more invested here than FRES, so certainly favour this - at these prices.

All a lot smoother today and had a quick look at the numbers of Fresnillo and can't say they impress me. Decent play if the silversqueeze takes off but not seeing any great growth prospects like Polymetal has. In fact Gold production is falling rather steeply with various excuses given over the last few years. Production of 925Koz on 2018 and now forecast 675Koz-725Koz in 2021, think I'll pass on them.
