So, false break to the downside of that little flag last week - it's now back in it.

It will break sustainably soon enough - my punt is on the run-up to the results and just the sheer value they will demonstrate in numbers. Plus that dividend.

If I wasn't too tight, I could put up an updated chart, but it gets timed out during office hours, as it were...

WHO chief scientist says
WHO chief scientist Swaminthan says there are now reports of people getting reinfected with new variants of the coronavirus.

Earlier this week, Boris Johnson said we may need to think of covid vaccines as an annual or regular event.

That's not what anyone wants to hear but the market doesn't care.

That doesn't sound good, about time the money left the general market and panicked for a decent home in precious metals, didn't think I would see Poly blue today!

Pretty sure we won't be seeing these prices for some time to come. Always tempting to take a few quid (I'm always doing it) given how weak it has been, but there is nothing out there (COST apart...) as cheap as this.

Polymetal generated strong quarterly free cash flow resulting in Net Debt reduction to US$ 1.35 billion as at the end of 2020,Net Debt/EBITDA is expected to be below 1x. For the full year, Net Debt decreased by US$ 128 million and the Company paid US$ 480 million of dividends implying record annual FCF.



Minimum final dividend of 50% of Underlying Net Income for 2H (subject to absolute Net debt/Adjusted EBITDA ceiling of 2.5x).

In addition, the Board will now have discretion to increase the final dividend amount to a maximum annual payout of 100% of Free Cash Flow (provided that it is greater than 50% of Underlying Net Income). In making this decision, the Board will consider, among other factors, the macroeconomic outlook, debt position and future investment requirements of the Group.

With this amendment, starting from 2021, Polymetal will pay dividends twice a year on a semi-annual basis, which means that final dividend for 2020 will be already determined by the new policy.

Underlying net earnings in 2nd half of 2019 were £398m

From my figures, revenue in 2nd half 2020 has increased to $1.71B from $1.3B in 2019.
Polymetal paid $189m in dividends and reduced debt by $259m in 2nd half of 2020.

For the full year, Net Debt decreased by US$ 128 million and the Company paid US$ 480 million of dividends implying record annual FCF.

I'd guess around 70c final dividend if pm prices are in same ball park come March.

Any thoughts on the level of dividend to be announced Wednesday 3rd March. There will be no Special dividend but the rate may be larger than previous years ???

I was lucky...tried to buy at 1601 at 16.29 yesterday...too late...

Had to pay 1576 today.. oh dear...😏

i had order to buy at 1600 for few days ,but it only drop to 1601 yesterday , today i change order and buy bit higher and 20 min later come to 1599.5 .
