02/7/2016 14:55 | Paleje, isn't it pleasant to dream of long distance telephone number share prices, just around the corner? I'm pessimistic about GCM though: it's dragged on for so long because no-one wants to be responsible for the environmental damage etc in this new clean green-aware world. | roomb
02/7/2016 09:04 | Ah but Roomb, you'll need to remove the decimal point and add a nought or two if..'if'..GCM ever gets the green light:) | paleje
02/7/2016 08:46 | Proactive article | spights
01/7/2016 18:21 | If you take the price of the late trade of 100000 GCM at just over 14p then the days rise was 26%. Monday could be interesting. | 888icb
01/7/2016 18:13 | Paleje-GCM is worth about £2.3m to Polo, so if you add that to Blackham and Hibiscus, you've got the current capitalisation, more or less. Everything else is in "for free". POLO had, I think, $22m in cash in December 2015. | roomb
01/7/2016 17:51 | A good day for Polo number 32 on the riser board up 10% . GCM rose strongly into the close to be number 4 on the riser board up 20% | 888icb
01/7/2016 12:02 | Volume is picking up and we have had 2 trades at 5.55p. It's about time Polo started to move in full penny's rather than fractions of a penny as there is a long way to go to get to a fair valuation. We don't need GCM to do well but if GCM gets good news this would rise so fast that if you were not already in you would miss a large profit. | 888icb
01/7/2016 11:01 | 😀😀 Yehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa | spights
01/7/2016 10:21 | roomb, Now that would be ironic should it come to pass. He has appointed enough cronies to create one Pindarus | acamas
01/7/2016 09:32 | Not defending ST at all but I think what got him was the speed and severity of the downturn in the sector (apart from MT's entry) and not many predicted that. He shouldn't have held onto his view for so long. Anyway him aside, and GCM aside, which we all know could diminutise everything else, the value of just 2 POL investments, as per their current quoted market caps, is:- Blackham - ~£8m Hibiscus - ~£3.8m Polo current m/cap £14.4m Everything else, incl cash, is in for a couple of million quid. But Blackham and Hibiscus are hardly overvalued and could easily increase over the coming months to exceed POL's current m/cap. We are very cheap. POL's other stuff as per spights' link a few posts back (for newcomers) | paleje
01/7/2016 09:26 | Acamas-let's hope that Gove has a trusted subordinate around to do a Pindarus. I wonder who it will be. | roomb
01/7/2016 08:46 | I see we have just risen to 5p ! | 888icb
01/7/2016 08:41 | I think I read somewhere that Simon was voted journalist of the year by ISDX, or something like that.....Hopefully polo can continue the long recovery to a decent level cluster to the NAV.I still think Tang is a buffoon though...... | failedqs
01/7/2016 08:36 | Considering he was suggesting it as a buy at 50p I think he might steer away from tipping us again for his own credibility because I have lost all faith in him as a stock picker | acamas
01/7/2016 08:33 | BLK UP 8% to 0.74. Can this be enough to push Polo through 5p. The prospects for Polo on a number of its investments are looking good and it remains massively undervalued. Talking about Gove changing his mind made me wonder whether Simon Thompson of IC will have another look at his old favourite. | 888icb
01/7/2016 08:11 | spights, Life is strange in how history repeats itself. Take Julius Caesar and The EU Referendum my cast would be:- Julius Caesar - David Cameron Mark Antony - Theresa May Marcus Brutus - Boris Johnson Cassius - Michael Gove Casca - Nigel Farage Casca struck the first blow into the neck of Caesar from behind as I recall according to Shakespeare and Cassius used Brutus for his own ends | acamas
01/7/2016 07:51 | Another yehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa | spights
01/7/2016 07:34 | 'Blond Eamon is too overcome with grief to post here now' - Lol roomb. | paleje
01/7/2016 07:20 | A big yehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa For Polo | spights
01/7/2016 07:19 | hxxp://www.bursamala | spights
01/7/2016 07:10 | Thanks spights. So, on past experience, a small fall in the share price today . . . OR maybe not. Maybe the tide has, finally, turned. Maybe. | folderboy
01/7/2016 07:05 | Yehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa A very very good morning Yehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa | spights
30/6/2016 19:05 | Blond Eamon is too overcome with grief to post here now. He bitterly regrets not buying here at sub 2p and will probably have to live with the trauma for the rest of his life. | roomb |
