Indeed and of course - but - think I would have tried to hang in there at the moment.
Maybe that's my problem - knowing when to move on - or take a profit.

Some people trade stocks and sell to develop their portfolio. There are any number of reasons why people sell from Credit card bills to holidays and somewhere in between DIY on property. I am sure you can think of more reasons!

BLK now up nearly 14% which is an overnight gain to Polo of £1.7 million. So Polo's stake in BLK is worth about £14.3 million.
BLK currently 1.16

Blk Mcap@ $1.07 = 272.1 (POL share 8.11%) = $22,067,310 = £13,142,637GCM Mcap £12,360,000 (POL share 27.8%) = £3,436,080Total worth to POL = £16,578,717POl Mcap £19,070,000 meaning Blk and GCM alone are worth 86.93% of POL Mcap, put rest of investment in, and the growth potential of the two above and I would say once the crowd wake up to this it's going to go North!

Someone bought 36000 shares at 36p average several years ago and another 33000 a few days ago to average down a bit... Still got a fair way to go till profit mind you....

As a long term holder I always think of Dattels and Mellon in relation to Polo.
Slightly off topic but in relation to Gold a company with which Jim Mellon has a long history is Condor Gold CNR. It has been doing well in the last few months and may be worth a look if you are into gold.

If Blackham is worth 12m to Polo, that's about 4p a share for Blackham alone. Everything else is in for 2p, including the cash.

Yeh based on the Market Cap of where Blk finished up last night it's worth £12m to Pol, can see Blk value pushing on over the next few months and if Gold pushes on again only going to add to the fun and games.

I agree someone should give the share price a serious talking to about its current failure to go up! BLK at a new high and even GCM has held last weeks gains and is up 3% this morning.

Nimini figured in the NAV update prior to Ebola breaking out, and with gold in line with today's price, at over GBP30m so the wait should be worthwhile some day even if that was a bit inflated.
