Paleje, as far as I can work out ( and please check for yourself) the previous valuation of Anasuria was $113m and it's now $208m so an increase of $95m.
As of March 2016 it seems that POL had 8.4% of Hibiscus so that would be an increase in the valuation of $7.98m for POLO. I'm not sure if that takes into account dilution, but it looks good to me. But with my track record of making mistakes with adding up, someone more numerate should check the figures. It looks like good news so I'm not sure why we aren't shooting up to at least 10p.

Paleje, apologies, you are right and I was wrong. I don't remember how I worked out the wrong figure. Yes, £7.7 M is the value of POL's BLK shares. Even with today's small increase in POL's sp, that's over half of POL's current market cap, so I wonder why we aren't going up faster, taking into account the cash ( I think it was $22 Million in December) , today's Hibiscus announcement, and everything else.

Looking good spights, that 84% valuation raise for Hisbiscus' North Sea asset a pleasant surprise, well spotted. I hesitate to suggest what it means for POL as my maths is in question so someone else can do it:)

Dear Maureen,
Thanks for contacting us. We do very much appreciate your support.
Regarding Nimini, we are using the post-Ebola period to pursue the Mine Development Agreement (MDA) which is a critical step to us moving forward, i.e. an MDA sets out the fiscal terms under which Projects will be developed and in particular they involve negotiated concessions. Until the MDA is agreed and ratified by the Sierra Leone parliament we are keeping the Project on care and maintenance to minimise costs.
Sorry there is nothing more to report and yes, we must catch up at an AGM.
Regards,
Kudzayi

Roomb,

What % are you attributing to POL and what m/cap do you have for Blackham in post 13300? Sorry I'm a bit behind.

I just checked ASX m/cap is AD 172m and POL has 8.11% yes? that would make POL's holding worth ~GBP 7.7m. Not that it matters in the long run but if I've got numbers wrong by all means point out.

Blackham
The Consideration Shares will when issued represent approximately 3.15 per cent of Polo’s enlarged issued share capital. Upon completion, Polo’s undiluted interest in Blackham will increase to approximately 8.11 per cent from its current attributable combined direct and indirect holding of approximately 6.97 per cent.

Its funny how people can be brain washed to own their own land to farm on, even though they would have a lot more if they sold up to allow coal mining.

Is there no more farm land that they can buy in Bangladesh?

I reckon they are being conned by the coal importers who would lose out if coal was produced locally.

paleje, I make POL's holding in BLK worth about £4.5m if the Australian dollar is 56 pence. But if it goes up to 99c a share, it will be worth £6.7 m .

Complementing BLK’s own efforts is the current spot price of gold - for every $100/oz. increase in the gold price roughly $73 million could be added to BLK’s cash flow.

POL's holding in Blackham now about £6.9, half our market cap. It seems wrong to be willing gold to maintain its upward path because it means everything else is getting deeper in the mire but..

In the last year BLK has tripled in price-so it might not be far fetched for it to double this year-that would have to give POLO a boost.

Every cloud has a golden lining with BLK UP 13.5%. This really should be reflected by an increase in Polo's share price

Polo UP 6.4%.Come on Polo start rerating. Blackham coming good and further enhanced by Gold going up. Polo has no UK or Euro exposure so share price should not be affected by brexit fallout.
