Ex-dividend date is the 29th August |
Can anyone confirm please ... when is the record (ex-div) date for the dividends announced today? |
Terrific free cash flow generation, year after year, + 1bn net cash: how much is it worth? If we put a modest multiple of 10 on 250-300 of FCF - which looks sustainable and below the last 5 years' average - and we add at least 500m of net cash (I leave 500m out for capital requirements) this business should be worth at least $3-3.5bn, which translates to £2.3-2.7bn = £30-35 per share. Happy to hear other comments. |
All brokers doing well CMCX HL. AJB. Just WHI absolutely pants. |
Solid update ,full year expected to be ahead of expectations & US growing strongly & gaining traction ,more buy backs & decent dividend .Glad to have held for years |
Solid. Can't think of a reason to sell. |
We already knew about the $1bn net cash but the strong US performance is fantastic news. Not sure why Plus is never judged on a cash adjusted rating but we remain too cheap. UAE not material IMO. |
Fwiw results per trading statement is the 19th August |
And hopefully a dividend update |
Interesting that we achieved a new high on Friday ahead of Results next Friday. We know the results from the trading update but lets hope FY25 has started well,(hopefully benefiting from recent volatility), the US continues to gain traction& our share price continues to improve |
Yes - HL. Yesterday. |
Anyone got the divi yet? |
The interest on that billion dollars should be quite significant too |
Happy with update ,although would have preferred some comment on our US presence. $1bill + after substantial buy backs & about to pay the final & special dividends keeps us in a very strong position.Great that we arent using some of our cash to pay premium prices for rubbish companies & we will hopefully make the occasional bolt on acquisition, while continuing to reduce our issued share capital & thereby increase our EPS & our respective stakes on Plus. |
$1bn net cash is still growing nicely |
Trading update today....
The Group remains well positioned to continue executing against its strategic roadmap, enabled by its market-leading proprietary technology and intuitive trading platforms, that deliver an exceptional service for the Group's customers globally, and supported by its strong financial position. Therefore, the Board of Directors of Plus500 remains confident in the outlook for 2024 and beyond and anticipates that Plus500's revenue and EBITDA for the current financial year will be in-line with current market expectations[4].
Plus500 will publish its H1 2024 results for the six months ended 30 June 2024 on 19 August 2024. |
We have bought back 35% of our issued share resulting in those investors retaining their holdings have almost 50% more shares, as a % of the issued share capital. We have also 20 bagged since ipo ,as well as paying a reasonable dividend.Lets hope that FY24 remains on track & our US division continues to gain traction.. I wish all my shares had performed as poorly as Plus, my only regret not being greedier! |
For those moaning about buyback, this is another company where buyback has been greatly beneficial to investors, especially with the handicaps of withholding tax on ordinary dividends. |
Have I missed any news? Why the jump, other than I still think this is worth £28.00 |
What a lively thread for one of the best performing stocks in UK this year! |
Has anyone compared Plus to CMC markets? Plus is much much cheaper, but which business model is stronger and less volatile? Thank you |
@12string Volatility has come down quite a bit and this biz usually profits from volatility spikes. |
Too busy counting our money :-) |
Surprised this board is so quiet. |
