No mate, lost £200 but still on top of the world and had a lovely #win at Mrs E snrs as I walked through door singing the Atar spangled banner at top voice, following her tirade against Trump last week.

I don't think the liberal breakdown has quite lived up to 2016. That really was laugh out loud funny.

in my junior school thuggery days a banger went off in my hand before I could throw it at my mate who'd put a jumping cracker in my pocket, very painful iirc & certainly wouldnt fancy being a suicide bomber. Used to tape them to airfix plane & ship kits too, the graf spee went down a treat in said mates koi pond

We had fireworks on bonfire night and we held them in our hands, too.

That does sound like hard work, mate. Mrs A(Snr) mentioned yesterday that we always used to have Jacket Potatoes on Bommie Night.

I'm enjoying this day soooooo much I could sh1t myself! So many media folk asking what went wrong. They seem to be concluding tothis afternoon that the problem is that "Kamala Harris underperformed".

Aye - I think that is true. I can remember one year where me and my mates decided to build a Bommie in a field (after asking the farmer first). And spending weeks going round peoples houses asking for wood and then lugging it all to the site. Ever again tho was a lot of effort

I suspected that may be the case, mate. A long time ago now: but I'm sure we (and everyone else) used to have fireworks on actual Bommie Night.

#7497 I don't think they've got The House yet and that one is likely to be close.

Personally I find it particularly pleasing he's won the popular vote.
