Evening gentlemen

Re the advfn app, I can confirm it is buggy as hell but does have one major advantage for non-blue skinflints like moi - you don't get the almost instant 'please upgrade now' or whatever it says when you're looking at prices monitor or individual company share price quote and it times you out. It doesn't keep streaming after a timeout, but at least it stays showing the prices at the time.

#5177,
Well the Jim took rather longer than usual due to a 'senior moment'. I cycle down there - it's a few miles - and it wasn't til I arrived and went to grab the saddlebag with my Jim kit that I realised it was still sitting on the dustbin at home! So that was Home/Jim x 4. Also a bit late getting going as the jinxed RS5 has had another 'event'. It's parked in a residents' bay adjoining one reserved for 'Car Club'. Mrs J looked out of the window this morning and says "Oh I see they've repainted the Car Club bay". I knew what was coming, and I was right. White paint smeared all over the back of the Audi. They must have had a go at wiping it off but there was a smeary film left. Luckily, still fresh enough that a bit of T-Cut and elbow grease sorted it out but, honestly, which one of the Gods have I offended?

#5148, 5150 ISLE OF ARRAN CHEDDAR MAC & CHEESE

I keep seeing this sort of thing at supermarkets, although not until now at a good restaurant. Why would anyone want to eat a mackintosh? No doubt there's some secret meaning but that won't help with customers who don't know the code.

Doesn't say much for the skills of the cellarman if the beer can be "scooped."

Where's Dunders when you need him?

Nipped in to F&M to pick up some store cupboard essentials I shouldn’t wonder.

I don’t think that any avatars use the advfn app -just the website. You would never be orf the blower to support imco.

I haven't touched it since I posted using it the other day, James. Just the ADVFN one (obviously) at the moment.

Shakshuka is a simple dish made of gently poached eggs in a delicious chunky tomato and bell pepper sauce. Said to have originated in Tunisia, this breakfast recipe is popular in many parts of North Africa and the Middle East. It is so satisfying, you can serve it for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Looks good. I know what you mean about shaksuka - I think that I should enjoy it but am usually disappointed. I then forget and order it again with the same end result.
