Yes, I have heard that fresh, grilled sardines are very nice but I have never eaten them.

Good morning all.

James, have ye ever considered creating a very similar ‘sounding̵7; avatar in order to bypass teh olde filter so that ye can butt-in and accuse other avatars of desperately seeking attention at all?

Seems a bit desperately attention seeking to me.

re this honours list malarkey Im surprised no one has pointed Nads, Boris et al in the direction of the free bb where they can register and join the already registered illustrious nobility such as Lord Butterstock, Lord Sanofi etc who already grace the bb.

I note that available avatars include Dame Dorries and Lady Nads, Earl Wonky Trolley & the Duke of Bullingdon

We had a fish bbq t'other night - monkfish, swordfish, tiger prawns - and I'd just bought some new kebab skewers (the proper thing, flat so they don't spin round and really sharp point). So there I am building up the contents - a bit of yellow pepper, fish, green pepper, fish, onion, fish, tomato, eh...? What's this bit of meat doing on there?

Finger.

Doh.

Good evening from Castello, Venice

Tonight's home-cooked menu - Pan-fried sardines with garlic, aubergine and tomato sauce served with pasta, fried mushrooms and fresh salad. With a view of St Mark's bell tower from the rooftop apartment.

Teenage son looking after home and cat back in UK meanwhile, hopefully hasn't trashed the place ...

Somehow, I am reminded of that bloke who used to wander up and down Oxford Street wearing a sandwich board declaiming 'The End Of The World Is Nigh'.

Fair enough matey - fwiw I am sure that Greeter Thunderberg tweeted some time ago that we didn’t have long left to save the planet and iirc we are now down to a week or so left - so sad, anxious and powerless is one option, a massive bender is another option.
