20/4/2022 15:34 | Two interesting things about the 7.5% reduction in shareholding by Ospraie, The first is that the price has held up very well. The second is that I remember Richards saying how important it was for PHC to have Ospraie as a shareholder and the good advice they get from them. I have no idea if Ospraie have lost patience or their fund is having liquidity issues. No surprise that the price has drifted down today as perhaps some are concerned about the prospect of further reductions by both Ospraie and RG. I am interested to see in the results the impact that the drought in Brazil earlier in the year had on Sauri sales and how high fertilizer prices are impacting their sales. | ![]() cerrito

01/4/2022 17:20 | Maybe under promise and over deliver ?Ager supplies 10 million Hectares. What proportion of that is soybeans isn't clear but there is plenty upside apparently. Nationally the soybean crop is around 17 million Hectares. Decent market.Ager is a rapidly growing, multi-national distributor, with a particular focus on sustainably improving food quality and productivity across Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. In Argentina, Ager supplied product to some 10 million total treated hectares of crops in 2021. Today's appointment of Ager demonstrates the commercial appetite for ProAct in South America and significantly expands Plant Health Care's market access with leading partners across the region. Ager will commence sales of ProAct for soybean in Argentina during the third quarter of 2022 and is targeting 350k hectares of soybeans and 150k hectares of wheat within five years; this would generate in excess of $0.75m sales for Plant Health Care. | ![]() oapknob1
01/4/2022 16:20 | DaveMac3, I can understand why you say what you say and very sensible to get into Argentina. Not clear to me why not going in with PHC279 after the work in Brazil; not sure if I have ever heard of ProAct and I assume they have regulatory sign off in Argentina; they refer to $750k sales if all goes well but not clear if that is annual or as it reads to me over the 5 years and if so does not move the dial much. | ![]() cerrito

14/3/2022 14:26 | Yes ridderone the continued increase in soybean prices is beneficial to PHC as can be seen that the price has not cratered with the rest of the small/micro cap market and also Friday's announcement that RG is continuing to sell down. | ![]() cerrito

09/2/2022 15:37 | Well, somebody is buying. I thought there was a bit of a hint in the presentation that PHC could be a takeover target, and if the technology is now proved, it would make sense for somebody with 'a bit of cash' to take it over and drive the geographical and sector expansion faster than PHC can. | ![]() ewanwhose

03/2/2022 13:14 | RG now down to 15pc from 25pc last year. I guess we have to brace ourselves for a low price till he is out of for no other reason than people will be shy of buying if they think he will continue to sell. I am perhaps more philosophical than I should be because when he exited Ceres the price appreciated smartly. | ![]() cerrito
