The chart looks like its tracing out an enormous pennant formation and a break of 10p will take us 20p higher.

well. my premise is.

recruitment is gradual and slow (to be expected)
if an improvement is seen by relatives, they may buy in before the unblinding.

we know its safe. there are no disease moderating treatments out there. so we may have an accelerated PIII, P IV (or not bother).

but still a bit early for leaky news.

another 6 months unfortunately before rumours I suspect

it would appear reports of the death of P57 are premature

new thread for PYM

company website;

Parkinsons disease; status of P2 cogane clinical trial , (results expexted late 2012)

Cogane for Glaucoma
"Cogane™ and Myogane™ are currently being evaluated for their neuroprotective effects in cultured retinal ganglion cells, an in vitro model of glaucoma. It is anticipated that proof-of-principle in vivo preclinical studies will be performed in 2011.

As both compounds are clinical stage products there is potential to progress rapidly to clinical trials following successful preclinical studies. "

Motor Neurone Disease/ ALS- news expexted 2011
" With the support of the Motor Neurone Disease Association we are undertaking work in additional preclinical models of ALS. If positive, these studies will facilitate rapid progression to clinical trials"

Vascular Dementia
"Since June 2007, Phytopharm has collaborated with the Institute of Radiation Medicine in Beijing, China, on the Institute's development of a group of steroidal saponin compounds with the potential to treat a range of cognitive disorders from mild cognitive impairment through to vascular dementia. The Institute are currently preparing for submission of a clinical trial application to the State Food and Drug Administration in China to facilitate entry of its lead candidate, compound 9714 (PYM60086) in to Phase I clinical studies in healthy volunteers. In April 2010 Phytopharm and the Beijing Institute modified the existing license agreement to allow the Institute to progress the development of the compound in Asian markets with Phytopharm retaining the rights to develop a pharmaceutical product in Western markets."

it was dropped by PYM. but the molecule being progressed by the Beijing institute (where PYM retains western rights) it seems to be back on.

No news that I am aware of to comment. I always value comments but for me until trials report I will be holding my "biotech gambling" stake in PYM.
