Dave if you were broke and i lent you enough money for you to last twelve months to pull yourself together then you are fully funded for twelve months. I would reap the benefits if you did well and paid me back with interest. !!! Thats my last post on the subject...

So basically by your definition 'fully funded' means nothing.

Don't know about you, but if you say you were 'fully funded' and still made a loss....you didn't have enough 'funds' did you..

You bought at 4.5p???? You had a massive chance to buy at 3.7p only few days ago. A lot of them may have bought at 3.7p and then sold at 5p.

Yes...they they are still loss making and have raised funds. They will be loss making when they raise more funds. But at the moment they are funded..so simple...

Bob, seriously?? If I had a business that was running at a loss, and had two really good months I could say by your logic 'I'm fully funded at present'.

They have said they are still expected to make a loss this year,

They KNOW what news is coming, and still told you in advance they will make a loss.

A loss does not mean that they are not fully funded for a period of time... A loss is a totally diferent area. Everything changes on news. Buying is probably a good indicator at the moment as there is not lots to go on. I bought a few today as that last rise was rather impressive...

Jung, they are not fully funded, they said themselves they expect a lower loss this year that previous in the last trading update, but still a loss..

Stig, or the pharmas have ditched pyc, like others have, hence Jim's comment of 're connect with previous customers' how do you get 'expanding massively' from employing one employee lol.

Also Merck was far from a 'massive' contract, if you think 500k euros is a lot on money, you're very wet behind the ears. Merck probably spend more than that on the cleaning contract for their a buildings, or vending machines lol

Am sitting here quietly and have filtered out the noise. In fact added about 4.5p this morning. With patience should see 20p before the year runs out.Gla

In October 2017 they told us a big deal was coming

In November 2017 they announced a big deal with Merck

In Jan Feb they announced further initial pilot deals with two Big Pharmas

Those deals complete in June

I would assume they are now in negotiations to either continue those trials or expand massively which would be only reason you'd take step of adding a new employee in July

Oh, actually it was regarding this in fact..

'GlaxoSmithKline has just paid $300m for a one-sixth stake in a gene profiling company that will tell you how much of your DNA, back hair and propensity to sneeze can be traced to Neanderthals. By contrast, the company, 23andMe, charges hirsute hanky wielders only £55 to find this out. But that is precisely the point. GSK is spending so much because genetic tests now cost so little — less than 23andMe used to charge, as it has persuaded 4m customers to share their data for medical research — and little enough for many to see it as harmless fun.'

So there is your answer to that one. AND AGAIN, profit making, nothing like what pyc offer...oh and the company is worth 1.5 BILLION.

You seem to not realise these deals are done to make money, not for the fun of it.

JUST TO RECAP, 1.5 BILLION..

Zen, are you new to all this?

The global vaccines market is estimated to be worth around $25bn annually and GSK is one of the largest players in this market. Gsk have revenues of over 5 billion a year for vaccines, and Okairos who they have purchased is a developer of vaccines for infectious diseases and cancer. The company offers vaccines for malaria, hepatitis C virus, HIV, Ebola and Marburg, and universal influenza, and has proprietary tech to actually DEVELOP AND DESIGN drugs, and is currently generating gsk revenues of around 160 million a year, making the purchase at 320 million a bargain.

So please tell me, by what stretch of the imagination is this comparable to pyc, who have revenues less than your local pub per year, running at a loss, and all they have to offers is predicting how much of a drug to give test subject in trials?

Lol so in Davevt’s world then why did GSK paid $320M for a 1/6th stake in a gene profiling company - surely they are even more ‘non essential non-unique service’!

Now ask, how many clinical trails do glaxo do a year?
margic

Correct, so is £35k the only size of contract PYC will win?

I guess we will need to see how this plays out. In the meantime, I am positioned for that contract news, knowing there is absolutely no need for a placing. All about risk/reward at this point. Something I have continued to say.

Margic I don't quite understand your post 'No, I'm talking about how many get tested a year. A test is far far far away from a design'

Only a handful get designed or tested a year. Pyc do modelling for drugs that have already been designed to predict how much dose needs to be given. They don't 'test' drugs to see if they work, pycs job is way way way down the line. That's why contracts are few and far between.

Margic, they are on clinical trials now, they command over 125k.
