belle - "you sound it like mm’s wont let take any profit,"

That is exactly what I am saying. We can all point to double digit gains in the past but the markets have deteriorated sharply over the past twelve months. The LSE regulators recently sought a wind up petition for Beaufort Securities. This caused panic and shock waves throughout the AIM for the other market players were not that far behind Beaufort in terms of insolvency.

You've released some cash so there is a new air of confidence and optimism about you. I am happy for you in that respect but if you invest that money in the AIM today you will lose the lot.

PS. There is no such thing as being greedy. There is just a failure to understand that if you invest a fresh £10k in a stock or spread over various stocks the MM will not allow the money to sit there as if it were in a savings account. They will take it.

Outlook

The main objective when we started this Company was to identify drugs/products that had interesting science behind them and that could benefit from our drug development and commercialization expertise. We have now been successful in sourcing a wide range of products from around the globe. Each has specific needs and challenges that our extended team has been focused on resolving. Not everything will go as planned, but the team has many years of experience in overcoming challenges, and finding creative solutions to push the programs forward.

The real reward is trying to help give hope to cancer patients for whom the available drugs have failed and are in need of new options. I am reminded of how challenging this is as one of our investigators writes to me about a woman in her 30s with no other options who is eager to get into one of our trials. The investor community is also optimistic about this sector with record amounts of venture money flowing into startups this past year. In fact, in February 2018, BMS recorded the largest upfront payment for a license in history. They paid US$3.6 billion for 35% of the profits on Nektar's immunotherapy after seeing data on approximately 40 patients.

At the SalvaRx corporate level, we continue to identify potential investments or acquisitions. We expect to grow further by acquisition, investment or licensing arrangements as we identify novel cancer immunotherapies. Not all of our projects will progress, as we are continually prioritizing those with the highest probability of success.

The example I gave was purely theoretical. I was simply illustrating how the AIM MM trick people into thinking there are winning strategies. You stated you made lots of money. I was merely illustrating how the MM allow you make money on one share and take an even bigger chunk of your money on another.

You claim you are coming back with £30 - £40k with stop losses of 4 - 5%. You cannot put stop losses of 4 - 5% on your account. If the stock plunges 10% in one go that's it you lose 10%. If you are going to invest £30k - £40k you should contact your broker about taking part in placings. If you buy on the open market your money will be taken by the forward selling of discount stock.

Say I invest £10,000 in company A and £500 in company B. They will fleece me of 80% in company A and allow returns of 300% in company B. So in company A I am left with only £2000 but in company B my investment has grown to £1500. My overall loss is £6500.

This is a really bad example I’m sorry for the criticism but who invest 10k in one share and 500£ in the other.but thank you

I’m determined to get my loss back but this time I’m coming back with 30/40k and I will only invest 5k and one stock a week or a month and stop losses of 2/4% will be used I will let you know pwhite if I will make it

Word of Warning.

Many of you would have noticed there are fewer and fewer posts across the bulletin board chat rooms ADVFN, III, LSE, Twitter, etc This is because the experience of losses by AIM mug PIs is so widespread that fewer and fewer are investing. The fraud, corruption and greed on the AIM is causing it to implode. The repercussions is that those who remain invested or intend to invest fresh capital are suffering larger losses than ever because the MM have fewer people to fleece.

bellesmimo1 - "..i made alots of money when share price spiked 200%"

No your broker AJBell, the nomad and market makers all work together. They watch PI money across a range of stocks sometimes on an individual basis if the sums of money are large enough.

Say I invest £10,000 in company A and £500 in company B. They will fleece me of 80% in company A and allow returns of 300% in company B. So in company A I am left with only £2000 but in company B my investment has grown to £1500. My overall loss is £6500.

I continue to pour more money into the AIM because my roaring success in company B convinces me that my decision to invest in company A was simply a poor choice on my part. If I can replicate the same strategy with company B on all my stocks not only will I get all my losses back but I'll go onto to make huge gains everywhere.

The strategy doesn't work because when I invest the next £10k into what I think is another company B the markets will turn it into company A and I lose another 80%.

It is your money placed on the table that is driving the direction of 90% of these AIM stocks downwards. Corporate circumstances account for only about 10% of the continual fall. Place your money on the table and they will take it. Forward selling discounted placing stock is the main method used at the moment.

PGCE, PYC and your money are all connected via the same brokers, nomads and MM.

Fq, do you realise the contract is the sum of a load of work for clinical trials for a company that has only employed pyc to do multiple 35k pre clinical trials. They do years of pre clinicals on whatever drugs they have to test, then onto clinicals. As you probably realise, the progression takes years. So why would you think another 500k contract would be looming? That would need another customer who has been doing pre clinicals for years to progress. Going by their balance sheet, and previous news releases there isn't one. No new customer that has never used them before is going to go straight to clinical, and likewise no new customer is going to have 14 brand new cancer drugs they want pre clinical tests on.

I don't do private messages or comment on people's private circumstances. However on your general point of the use of stop losses and brokers to get around MM fraud unfortunately neither work.

Lets say you invest £100 and put in a stop loss of £80. The MM will trigger your stop loss as a matter of fact. So you are now sold out with a loss of £20. With your £80 what do you do?. You can put it into a bank and gain 0.001% interest or you can do what most Pis do, reinvest it in another AIM stock. If you reinvest the MM will trigger your stop loss again so your £80 is now returned to you as £60. Wherever you invest in the AIM with stop losses this will go on and on and on.. The only difference is when you jump from stock to stock you will incur dealing charges with your losses.

Using a broker to carry out your trades makes little to no difference. Brokers are only helpful if you're trading in very small amounts. Try to sell £000s worth at a profit and the restrictions remain in place.
