Looks as though market gone back to sleep Maybe still some tax loss selling today or tomorrow could see short term pressure on the SP, ortherwise I suspect minimal action until the next announcement.

Good write up in he Western mail business section this morning. Amongst other quotes from the Chief Exec: "the performance of the enlarged Group during the last three months has been very encouraging with a significant interest in the Group's LED lighting solutions".

Interesting statistic that the LED market is still in its early stages, currently accounting for less than 3% of the $70bn global general lighting market.

A bit of concerted buying on plus and LSE soon moves these. The recent results indicate that recovery is in hand.

Yes it has always been an 'interesting' stock to trade in...

Managed to read the results fully last night and the underlying positive tone and the potential of the markets is clear for all to see...

More contracts of yesterday's ilk will aid the momentum..

Very happy core/long term growth stock..

Now let's get the story out there..

Tried to top up but they wont sell except at a premium - a 25k order (a mere £2.75k - hardly a major purchase) wants 12p. Very tightly held at the moment.

EDIT - managed to squeeze 6k out of them at the full offer price at the close which is the max they are obliged to sell.

Early days yet, but make no mistake - these are very promising
results:

Revenues up a stonking 74% on the PhotonStar side alone; overheads
slashed by 60% in what used to be Enfis; synergies established; group
sales and marketing team expanded; infrastructure upgraded; lead times halved; production capacity increased to meet "increased sales demand"; new products coming on stream...

Hardly surprising that there is now "a significant increase in customer interest in the Group's LED lighting solutions".

And in sum, as James Mckenzie puts it:

We have made a number of important infrastructure and product range investments which are beginning to bear fruit. We expect to see the full benefits from these during 2011 and we look forward to further good growth this year.

battlebus2:- I lost far too much cash in my early days of investing by looking on the bright side. That is why (although I liked the concept) I never invested in Enfis as their statements proved that they could not deliver. Jury still out (imo) on the new structure as I pointed out above.

Having digested the accounts very difficult (imo) unless an accountant can otherwise disect to evaluate the final costs of the Enfis acquisition.

I strongly suspect that many of the Enfis rationalisation costs will be incurred in the first 6 months of 2011 and we will nto be able to get a true picture of potential profitability (or otherwise) of the Group until then.

Operating loss of £817K - Without a detailed breakdown I am unable to evlaute how much of this relates to the old Enfis business - as the statement in the accounts that:-

"Financial review The Group is required to treat Photonstar LED Limited as the acquiring company, with the reported trading results relating solely to the Photonstar LED business for the calendar years 2010 and 2009. The reported results do not include any trading results of the former Enfis business as this was not acquired until 23 December 2010. "

Could hide a number of nasties.

Any accountant able to evaluate ?
