" Following this purchase, Bidco and persons acting in concert with it (including Mr Crasnianski, Tania Crasnianski and Jean-Marc Janailhac) became interested in 138,028,596 Ordinary Shares in aggregate, representing 36.51% of Photo-Me's issued share capital, thereby triggering the requirement under Rule 9 of the City Code on Takeovers and Mergers (the "Code") to make the Mandatory Offer. "

Bid has been triggered due to requirement under Rule 9, as per rns.

That is, the holders representing the 36.51% block are required (MANDATED) to make a offer. The remaining holders are NOT obliged (mandated) to accept.

Trades in the market today are already above 75p

IMO, PHTM is not all that far away from paying dividends.

AND, here's an interesting chart (where do YOU think this could be heading?)

Ref #8983 - what is your problem - do you have comprehension difficulties ?

Could this move bring about a higher bid from interested parties ? I'm not selling yet until the fog clears. Long stop is 75p so why rush into selling?

A quid a share would represent a fair deal for holders - with IMO - plenty of further upside for the new set up, so a genuine example of a win win scenario. But let us see how the next few days progress. A bidding war would be a dream - but I have no idea how likely this might be.

The Dan David Foundation have agreed a price of 70p for their stock which appears very charitable. Concert Party?

The shares should trade at a premium to 75p given that insiders are indicating that the value of the company is significantly higher.

He might be trying to take it private cheaply or else he may just be responding to stock market regulations. The directors should hold out for at least 100p in my view and perhaps also seek a white knight to start a bidding contest !

The offer is only mandatory in the sense that Tibergest are compelled to make the offer as a result of the holding going over the 30% threshold. Shareholders are not compelled to accept this.

My take on this is it's a mandatory offer. Once it goes over a certain percentage you'll get a cheque in the post whether you accept or not! Imho
