20/7/2023 05:24 | So it's ATS or heap leach, right? Do they have the ore stacking schedule nailed down? Doubt it very much IMHO. By Christmas they will still be nowhere near selling copper, all imho DYOR! | bradshaw980
20/7/2023 01:31 | As DP says, let`s wait till next month | klondykejohn
19/7/2023 18:10 | May be an idea to get an ore reserves statement before attempting to build a mine, but then again WTF do I know! | bradshaw980
19/7/2023 17:50 | Yes Bradshaw, let's wait until we hear back from the metallurgist, likely next month, and then many of your questions will be answered | donald pond
19/7/2023 17:46 | Do they have ore reserves or just measured and indicated? As I was under the impression you need the category of total proved and probable ore to design the mine plan and open pit, production schedule, flow sheet etc? What is absolutely bizarre is saying they will be in production next year when they don't even know ATS route or heap leach.....time will tell I suppose let's see where we are by Christmas ! | bradshaw980
19/7/2023 16:49 | OK so this plant they have been busy designing, will it produce a concentrate or cathode? | bradshaw980
19/7/2023 16:25 | No point in financing a project if one does not get planning. As far as engineering, design and plant are concerned, PXC will have done most of the work on this anyway. Most of the plant is standard, as is plant layout and design. This is not something that is unique to PXC, the only thing they are doing is investigate ATS, so sorry Bradshaw, I completely disagree with your sentiment. | klondykejohn
19/7/2023 11:55 | KDJ: I'm certain bond financing is not dependent on permitting at all. | retirementplan
19/7/2023 11:10 | Bro are you high? With the greatest respect production by early next year is not mere fantasy, it's absolutely ridiculous ! Do you know how long it takes for detailed engineering design and then to actually get the plant equipment on site and build the bloody thing? IMHO we're talking years and it's a big IF it ever happens at all. LoL ! | bradshaw980
19/7/2023 09:33 | The Ats pilot runs need completing then analysed and then the production designs completed before the permitting can be applied for and accepted. At that time, the bond raise should be in the process of being completed in readiness for plant purchases. The bond will then be drawn down as and when required. I have no doubt in my mind that the production process is well advanced, as will be the thoughts on the Ats results so completing these two tasks will not be a long process. The bond take up will be very advanced, but will of course be subject to permitting approval. Once permitting is approved then I believe that the bond holders will go ahead and release funds. How long this will take is anybodys` guess, but I see light at the end of the tunnel and can envisage a lot of building work by the end of this year and a production start by early next year. The share price will begin to climb as we conclude each of the last three obstacles removed and of course, we have the Navarre creek results to come back as well. Hopefully, the good times are just around the corner. | klondykejohn
19/7/2023 08:58 | Bradshaw I was talking conceptually. I never speak to Mr Rio or Mr Tinto There is a general view despite the current copper price there will be a shortage of Copper and a shortage of new mines being built for the future. Perversley it is fortunate that the mine is not currently in production as the price of copper is no great shakes so the timing delays could work in PXC's favour. My natural caution thinks wait for the permits and the drilling is finished before raising debt but that may happen anyway I will get back into my box GLA | seagreen
19/7/2023 08:55 | DonaldDo not lose your job because of me! Send Marcus my best regards.Just a diferent view, but the concept of so much debt prior to even all the permits and drilling have been completed is a tad frightening. Keep up the good workSG | seagreen
18/7/2023 21:02 | As a major Rio Tinto look for a minimum of 500 million tonnes. Empire has a resource of 22.9 million tonnes. Rio's Oyu Tolgoi mine contains circa 2.7 million tonnes of copper while Empire contains circa 88.5 thousand lol. Fact is the amount of copper Pheonix have in resource is tiny and a major would not be interested....imho DYOR! | bradshaw980
18/7/2023 19:26 | I'm meeting the board on Friday seagreen so will raise your views then. I do hope your health improves, would be good to meet one day. | donald pond
18/7/2023 19:17 | Hey ... almost worth paying a subscription just to have access to the downvote button. Whatever happened to common civility? | saltraider
18/7/2023 16:34 | DP time the board bit the bulit and got a major strategic investor your charminig boss understands the equity world...eg rio tinto....you might get diluted but the share price might double and you would have none of the interest costs without revenue to worry about initially and then Rio Tinto or some such big name would organise a vanilla debt when needed not some hare brained derivative debt product based on a copper price that is appalingly low... just my oppinion why would you want a huge interest bill when you have no revenue or even started building the infra structure or got the appropriate permits yet do it in two stages take a leaf out of what SVLM is doing Surely you have done enough drilling to almost prove the upside these Geo's will drill a project to death... I see your Canadian cousins TSX ELBM have launched a private placement that should raise US$10m plus attract a strategic investor of another US$10M Get dear Marcus to dust off his corproate broking hat and start to go through his roledex.... It would give yu the stamp of approval that every AIM project needs Darn I guess that has scuppered my free lunch if I am ever well enough to come up to London take care It just does not make sense .....but WTFDIK Raise some equity then get a strategic investor then when you have the permits and are ready to go you will find it much easier toraise debt or get a strategic investor and then raise some equity | seagreen
18/7/2023 08:06 | The lab is working on their final recommendation for processing the ore. I don't know exactly when it will be finished but I suspect mid August is a good bet | donald pond
17/7/2023 17:48 | About time too sportbilly. There is no logical reason for this depressed price as previous results have been exceptionally good within Empire and Red Star sites. Apart from the bond raise and ongoing Ats piloting for copper, then I cannot see any negatives. We will have to live with higher interest rates for the next few years so PXC might as well bite the bullet and get the funding concluded. Do we know how long a period it will take for the pilot runs to be completed. I presume the best few results at each of the base test parameters will be piloted then a final decision can be made as to whether Ats extraction is feasible or whether we just go back to the original two stage process for copper then precious metals. Either way, permitting should be more of a formality after the exhaustive testing that has been done. | klondykejohn
17/7/2023 14:24 | some decent buying today | sportbilly1976
17/7/2023 10:49 | SP Angel morning note comment Phoenix Copper* (PXC LN) 26p, Mkt Cap £29m – Drilling begins at Navarre Creek to target hydrothermal precious metal deposition (Phoenix holds 80% of the Empire mining property in Idaho) • Phoenix Copper reports it has begun its 2023 drilling programme at its Navarre Creek site in Custer County, Idaho. • The project is highly prospective for gold mineralisation and lies five kilometres west of the Company’s flagship Empire mine copper oxide deposit. • The programme will run over 30 drill pads and comprise of 60 RC drill holes. • The campaign is intended to follow up on promising geologic mappic, surface geochemistry, airborne hyperspectral mineral imaging and geomagnetic ground surveys. • Navarre covers 14.48 km², within which is over 6km of prospective strike length, including 2.5km of highly brecciated jasperoid intersecting altered Eocene Challis volcanics. • Mineralisation is understood to be contained within a jasperoid-hosted quartz stockwork and micro-veining system. • Navarre Creek sits within an intrusive dome structure, with silicic alteration pointing to associations with steam-heated, acidic and oxidised hydrothermal fluids, prospective for precious metal mineralisation. Conclusion: Phoenix has laid strong early-stage exploration foundations at Navarre Creek which have warranted the progression to a maiden drilling campaign. We look forward to the programme’s results as and when they are ready | sportbilly1976
17/7/2023 09:33 | It's 25.4p to sell up to 60k shares.That's well over the advertised mid price. | festario
17/7/2023 07:32 | Hopefully the start of some steady news-flow from PXC. | mininglamp

15/7/2023 01:14 | Mufprat, in 2020 we were looking at ATS to recover gold and silver. Civic delays led us to start looking at it to recover copper too. But why not wait until we get the final recommendation from the lab. | mad foetus |
