Looks like the big institutions have swallowed it. Can't see them walking away as too much money to be made here with gold where it is. If Strukov tries to undermine it for selfish interests there will be movement against him. He can't tap them all up and compensate them.

Norwegians must have liked what the new board had to say to them as part of their engaging with larger institutional investors policy.

IR aren't required to reply to every crackpot who spams them with their incessant deramping and inane gibberish.

Excellent summary of current situation. The extreme disruption of recent weeks leaves me aghast and also pleased to be out.I not sure which is scarier, the video depicting the raid on the Moscow office,or the complete lack of any reaction from London. It may be that IR and the BOD are still in shock and trying to develop a plan to manage the situation from the calm of Grosvenor square

pogue,

Yes, I accept the risk has increased significantly here. But I like the way price has continued to strenghen. News could just as easily be positive ..

Anyway, I'll run the risk.

I admire your courage for buying back in not something I feel confident about at all. Coups are as you say normal but what about the behavior of the CEO surely that rings an alarm bell? Genuinely wonder what your thoughts are on that.

I am happy to be out and to be on the sidelines (yes and to comment from the sidelines - the remaining bulls have no sense of balance). If the news turns positive I will be back in..If not then I will leave well alone .

Those that think Strukov is good news, that intimidation and criminal damage in Moscow is good news, that the delaying of results is good news. that resignation of the auditor (and the inability to find a new one) is good news, that resignation of Katya Ray after the boardroom coup is good news and that widespread employee dissatisfaction is good news are frankly deluded.

I will wait for a set of audited (yes audited by a recognised auditor) results before I even consider coming back in..

One other thing.. I have in the past communicated directly with both Patrick and Max in Investor Relations with reasonable infrequency both by phone and by email (even during COVID). But now there is no response and I conclude that investor relations are gagged. I am not comfortable with that.

Finally a profit is not a profit until you have banked it. A profit can disappear in a morning in a share like this.. I started accumulating in 2017 and my profits are banked.

Some people like playing with fire .... others prefer a quiet life ....

This company has changed from plenty of official news releases to being deathly quiet. In the absence of news the market does what the market does.

At some point soon POG will have to make an official statement about what changes have been implemented, where the company is going, top level appointments, response to police investigations etc.

From Monday there are only 13 working days to the end of the month. Some here are betting on red, some on black, some in the middle. Me? I'm for the quiet life.

Most staff are unhappy. Coups pretty standard in the boardroom. If you can pay, you can get an auditor. Chart continues to rise. Making loads of cash.

I didn't like the confusion and this risk has gone up. But still hard to find a company growing as quickly as POG. So it's all a gamble and once everything is known there is no reward..

Anyway, only a few 100k for the ride..

I'm hardly sweating, I could buy back in but choose to err on the side of caution. If you guys think office raids, unhappy staff, no auditor, Russian coups are normal then crack on. As for moving on, I'll keep watch thanks because I will be back if I see some clarity, a few pence isn't a biggie.

We've hit the top of the channel that goes back to the start of the year so I've started a tapered sell. My final target, high 50s but having nearly half my portfolio in this is too exciting! I'm comparing this to RDSB, which could reasonably double and bring its dividend back to historic norms.

That is not a bad thing. If deramping removes weaker shareholders and the share price remains strong, that is a good indication of fundamental value and strong interest from more knowledgeable institutional big investors.

Poor Celeritas, I feel so sorry for him/her and the others that have sold out but won't let go, obviously having more trouble sleeping now than before due regrets about being frightened out of their position. Move on and good luck!

Exactly, however they don't have the class to move on, the blatant deramping and scaremongering no doubt talked a lot of nervous investors out of their positions!

they want to be back in this share and we know that, no matter how much they deny it. That is why they are deramping. If one is really hating the share then they would have just moved on, just like one doesn't spend time on boards of thousands of other shares that they don't intend to invest in.
