03/9/2020 13:25 | worth a look make up your own mind. Is this creating shareholder value russian style! | officehead
03/9/2020 13:11 | Company rudderless,no stability ,no Auditors, complete silence from the Bod,vital Moscow offices wrecked, this is the reality of the situation. It's not ramping or deramping, the mess needs resolving pronto!!! | route1
03/9/2020 10:46 | Westerners can’t get enough of game of thrones, not so much in real life. Of course POG is worth several pounds, the Lannisters could tell you that. POG will get there IF the king doesn’t nationalise. Meanwhile, the woman’s weapon of poisonous words is on going. LOL | fast lane
03/9/2020 10:14 | PI's here beware of MidasX's one sided ramping. Will he be responsible for any losses you incur from here? No. Nada. His views support him trading in and out which most here don't do. Be warned ...... | stevea171

03/9/2020 10:00 | At some stage, likely soon, these multiple reports in the Amur local press over the past week or so will be taken up by the Russian national business press and the UK business press eg FT, Telegraph, IC. When the story hits the National press here POG will be asked to make a statement and will be forced to issue an RNS. Remaining silent will not be an option. In Russia this is a police matter subject to ongoing enquiries and where charges may be laid. If staff are not paid due to the destruction of records there will be consequences. This is a story that will run and run. POG will be humiliated and shunned. | stevea171
03/9/2020 09:36 | I wonder if Strukov will consider sending some of his heavy mob round to visit the negative and deramping posters. | popeye888
03/9/2020 09:14 | POG is undervalued with the right BOD, problem is no-one knows now. For all we know the Nomad will go next. You just don't know what to expect. | celeritas
03/9/2020 08:48 | The company may be uninvestable, however I crystallised a very nice profit on Friday and replaced them yesterday, these positions are currently showing a very healthy profit. Days like yesterday when the LSE algos overshoot to the downside compared to the Russian market offer a very nice opportunity to invest! For medium/longer term holdings, we all know POG are hugely undervalued with Gold anywhere over $1700 oz. | midasx
03/9/2020 08:28 | Pog has been univestable for a decade, due to lousy management, poor corporate governance and the gold price. I invested in spite of this due to the gold price and the POX plant coming online, now I hope the lousy management and poor corporate governance is being rectified. 1930 important support for gold to hold, good polls out for Trump by Trafalgar Group, and strong economic data seeing the dollar bounce. | mooniessteve
03/9/2020 08:26 | Midax, why do you ignore whats going on, have you fallen in love with pog and can't let go. | celeritas
03/9/2020 08:25 | Ditto Roch ... I am kind of in mourning really and for precisely the reasons you have just spelt out.. | undervaluedassets
03/9/2020 08:22 | Well, seems a mess here. Which is why I jumped ship last month. Such a shame. If only people had voted at the AGM and Pavel had stayed. Of course it could all blow over, but I think there are more problems ahead with governance and control. I continue to monitor though just in case.. | rochdae
03/9/2020 08:16 | Sorry to see you go Celeritas, do you work in the same office as Troy? | midasx
03/9/2020 08:14 | Pog is absolutely uninvestable at the moment. I have also moved on all be it reluctantly. How can you maintain a holding in a company with whats currently going on, I'd rather not use Ostrich mentality. | celeritas
03/9/2020 08:10 | Troy, Without checking your past posts my impression is that all your posts are negative and deramping. I am unsure why you are actually here as you surely cannot have any investment with such a negative view of the company. The world is full of false news with people trying to profit from spreading such news! People are paid to post negative news and spread false information, sound familiar? If the CEO of a company is refused access to company property the employees responsible deserve to be ex-employees. Simple as that! | midasx
03/9/2020 08:06 | There has been no deramping here... only telling it like it is. What I would say is that there is a lot of denial and self delusion on this board now. Self delusion that flies in the face of all the chaos has been/is going on. I am still here (occasionally) because I am hoping for some good news. I am certainly not going to buy back in on bad. As the economist john Maynard Keynes said “When the facts change, I change my mind. What do you do, Sir?” | undervaluedassets
03/9/2020 07:38 | Don't think anyone's been deramping anything Midas. This board is generally pretty good and there has just been a fair exchange of opinions. One thing is for certain, many consider this uninvestable at the moment. Today's Amur News....... Google Translate...... STRUKOV TOOK PART IN THE SEIZURE OF THE PETROPAVLOVSK OFFICE? The scandal with the forceful seizure of the office of Pokrovsky Rudnik in Moscow has already thundered all over Russia. The interim director of British Petropavlovsk PLC Maxim Meshcheryakov, accompanied by unidentified tough guys, arranged a demonstrative mask show in the spirit of the dashing 90s in the very center of the capital, a couple of kilometers from the Kremlin. Employees of the "Pokrovsky Rudnik" were kicked out of their workplaces, breaking the doors of offices, and important information was stolen from their computers. The pogrom in the office could be stopped only by the police, who brought out the acting. the head of the British Petropavlovsk PLC from the building. But even before the end of the official investigation, interesting details begin to emerge. According to the recollections of employees, who are still deeply shocked, describing what was happening in the office as senseless vandalism, the attackers were divided into two groups. Some of them - "athletes" were responsible for the power component of the action, that is, for direct violence and intimidation of people . Some of them, who looked more intelligent, at the same time were actively engaged in the theft of working information. It was these people who hacked into office workers' computers, downloading and erasing all files from them. It was they who managed to paralyze the work of the servers on which the normal operation of the enterprise depends. As a result of the activities of Meshcheryakov's technical support group, the working databases, legal and accounting information of the Pokrovsky Rudnik were virtually destroyed, on which, in particular, the payment of salaries to people - both in Moscow and in the Amur region - directly depends. Who these mysterious "professionals" were might have remained a mystery if not for their own oversight. The hijackers, when they were expelled from their office by the Moscow police, left at the crime scene a bag with various equipment and the logo of the Yaroslavl company "I-n-Di", which specializes in IT-technologies. With the help of simple searches on the Internet, you can find out that the owner of the domain of the company "Ai-n-Di" is a certain Ivan Nikolaevich Strukov. It was this person who was in the delegation that visited the enterprises of "Petropavlovsk" in March this year. It was headed by Konstantin Strukov, head of Yuzhuralzoloto (UGK) and a minority shareholder in Petropavlovsk, who is accused of conspiracy to acquire control over the company. According to both exchange analysts and the press, it was the Chelyabinsk oligarch from the 90s who initiated the takeover of the Amur gold mining company. We cannot say that the presence of a possible head of the hacking team Meshcheryakov by the name of Strukov in Konstantin Strukov's retinue is not an accidental coincidence associated with their possible relationship. But in the bag left in the office of "Petropavlovsk", working documents were found, which mention the PJSC "Kommunarsky Rudnik", located in Khakassia. This mine belongs to Konstantin Strukov and Yuzhuralzolot, and it is serviced, in technical terms, by the AI-n-Di company. How these documents ended up at the site of the seizure of the Petropavlovsk office and how two people named Strukov are connected, it remains only to guess. However, these are not the only "dark horses" in the history of the attack on the "Petropavlovsk" office. At least two more people are known who, during the raid, presented themselves as “deputies&rdqu | troy
03/9/2020 07:38 | Funny how Scaramella and Itsu got memory holed in the Litvinenko thing, the magic teapot that was so radioactive it could still be detected months later, although not so radioactive that anyone else got poisoned. Of course it had already been established that Itsu was contaminated, with Scaramella hospitalised, several hours prior, still you get can people to believe anything no matter how implausible. Unfortunately the spooks and their antics do generate extra risk, although opportunity to those who can see past the propaganda. | mooniessteve
02/9/2020 22:28 | Strong dollar and weak gold has not helped the cause today along with the Russian poisoning. Closed at 35.41 in Russian down 3.76% with 26,161,400 traded. UK close at 34.85 p down 5.17% 19,623,972 traded. Personally happy to see anyone take profit. Hopefully those who no longer have a holding will have the good grace to move on and cease the de-ramping! | midasx
02/9/2020 20:29 | Robert. Not so. I have many years of experience in the markets and was a holder here in the £10 plus days for some years when reluctance to sell caused me big losses. I am not going through all that again but others may see no problems. gl. | stevea171
02/9/2020 20:06 | Hence the monotonous deramping. | robertstronghand
02/9/2020 19:40 | Sold my 1 million plus shares here over 3 days ending yesterday. Was holding from c. 12p in January expecting at least 50p by early next year before the EGM last month. The way things have been going last week I can't see me ever returning. With Strukov and Meshcheryakov in control here I see trouble and crisis for the foreseeable future. The new Board is very weak and clearly not in control allowing Strukov with 24% to run riot which is a recipe for disaster. No reply to my email to PP on Monday as expected. No amount of spin can put lipstick on this pig! There are other good, well managed companies with exciting prospects out there to move to. One such company is EQTEC (EQT) that could become another Ftse250 company or better and I have switched some of these released funds to. Good luck all holders. | stevea171
02/9/2020 18:44 | Sold my 145,000 shares first thing Monday morning when I saw two sales totalling 3 million go through and panicked. Having been in since 2013 and gone through the rights issue, I'm kind of missing the ride at the moment but probably a good time to get my breath back and watch from the sidelines. | jimbobs147 |
