28/2/2022 09:38 | Probably a speculative buy at current levels, purely from a technical perspective. | flughafen17
28/2/2022 09:07 | It was not possible to sell even 100k shares last week on the few attempts I made. Hold until the end. The long term economic consequences for Russia are too great if they succeed with what they want to achieve with Ukraine. The best alternative is a Russian retreat and Putin to step down, in which case it's game on again for PTR. | johnswan193
28/2/2022 08:13 | I fear there will be no bid on Petroneft shares shortly, the market makers will not want sizable amounts of PTR stock on their book at any price, that is a given. Holders need to either stay strong or get out ASAP in my considered opinion. DYOR etc | m1sterx
28/2/2022 07:29 | Glen Croft I hope your right he’s that isolated I can’t see anyone getting to him Ukraine and Russia have such potential it’s sad for the people in both countries everyone in the world knows regime change in Russia is necessary but how is the problem still holding on but it’s only money innocent people are dying now | telegraph1
27/2/2022 19:47 | Whoppy, many of us wished we’d of sold up 10 years ago! Got to ride this out imo. Good luck all long suffering holders 🍀 | spudders
27/2/2022 19:31 | BP to offload stake in Rosneft amid Ukraine conflict | observer007
27/2/2022 18:30 | Shouldn't you guys be selling up here? I remember Gulfsands Petroleum and the sanctions imposed against Syria and companies doing business there. It was Gulfsands single producing asset. Eventually delisted. | whoppy
26/2/2022 14:02 | Going to double down, russian leadership gone by next week. As an irishman we know how this ends. | glencroft

24/2/2022 22:03 | It looks like the real world to most observers. Trump pulled out of Afganistan, showing the US was tired of overseas involvement, and Putin read the message. Ukraine and its approaches to NATO were an error egged on by the EU. A new order in Europe will come out of this, and hopefully, we all learn to coexist in a mutually beneficial manner. | seangwhite
24/2/2022 09:04 | This is what happens when you appease dictators. | parknas
24/2/2022 08:04 | I would say today's events mean it is game over for Russian stocks quoted on European markets. These stocks could potentially be suspended, more-so energy stocks. A truly terrible situation. | m1sterx
23/2/2022 08:47 | Sean, Yes, I would say their bad decisions caused the bad luck. Spending £Ms to build a treatment plant that could process bucket loads of oil before they realised they couldn't get it out of the ground in sufficient quantities was the best one, They pi££ed away so much money that that they had no choice but to sell half the licence....then pi££ed away the funds from that sale. Couldn't make it up. | chris cat
23/2/2022 08:36 | Chris - DF and PD really did have a long period of 'bad' luck aided by their own flawed decisions. | seangwhite
23/2/2022 08:09 | Parknas .... me too, My comment on management from post 33713 was aimed the previous mob not David Sturt etc. They are doing well. | chris cat
22/2/2022 23:32 | I'm here 15 years, I might as well hang on for another while. | parknas
22/2/2022 23:09 | Ride it out. | organstop
22/2/2022 14:17 | It's a solid and excellent management team. It's economic issues at the moment. Just have to ride it out. | filterwest
22/2/2022 13:54 | Isn't this just typical of what PTR has delivered to us Long Termers, Years of shocking management decisions and actions, then just when we appear to be on the right track, the rug gets ripped from under us. It's a lot worse for the people in Ukraine of course. | chris cat
22/2/2022 09:59 | Sanctions could really hurt EU & UK listed Russian stocks, there is talk they will stop anything Russian focussed raising cash on the respective markets, they could even suspend trading in Russian listed shares as well. What a mess this all is, bought a few of these in the summer and made a nice profit. | m1sterx
22/2/2022 09:52 | Can't even get a quote to sell 100k. I guess we're all stuck with these now, but could be an attractive buy if they really cheap in the coming days and weeks. | johnswan193
22/2/2022 09:47 | I was wrong anybody’s guess now what happens | telegraph1
22/2/2022 09:47 | I was wrong | telegraph1 |
