I also topped up a few times on the way down.
IMO the drop is overdone and does not reflect the market nor PFC real prospects.

I'd like to know where those who have been spouting about the next dividend get their info from. So far as I can see, nothing has yet been declared and I assume that won't happen before the results are announced, which IIRC is at the end of Feb.

I found the item in The Times. It said that PFC had won a multimillion dollar contract to work on decommissioning for Tullow Oil in the North Sea and would carry out operations to plug and abandon seven subsea wells in the Thames area of the North Sea.

Perhaps that's old news to you lot.

I gather there is big money to be made in decommissioning in the years to come so who knows what this may lead to. Can't believe the share price is this low. Crazy.

I bought more PFC at 4.326 and if it goes below that I'll buy more still, Grossly oversold imo, but then I'm in it for the long term.

I thought I read something about a new contract in yesterday's Times. Will have to see if I can find it.

For anyone interested in a pure play oiler improving in all business parts, try to DYOR on Tullow Oil [TLW].
I believe this will go a long way from here since releasing excellent results yesterday.

Gary,

Yes - about time re CARD. Glad I persevered with GSK also - up big time since results yesterday. GVC seems to be floundering now - must be due a bounce, though I'm gladly out of that at the moment.

Woody,I should have sold when PFC hit 585p,but I was looking for £6,thinking PFC would go higher.Nevermind live and learn.Hindsight is a wonderful thing.I think I will join you at 550p next time.Hopefully a takeover for HGM,and PFC would be good.See money now going back into CARD today.

Gary,

550p or takeover, whichever is the sooner. That RNS said nothing detrimental as far as I'm concerned. It's not the potential fine that's the issue - it's whether the business is drastically affected. Clearly it hasn't been and that RNS will make no difference whatever - except that the threat will retreat into the background again due to lack of publicity.

I will have another look if these reach 400p support, sold 505p recently as soon as I saw the wide ranging SFO rns, as it spooked me to get out then.

Right back to my holiday, I have left a buy order in at 405p, as it’s just above support and a 100p less than my sell price, so maybe a better risk reward.

fuji99 - I'm trying to wait till it hits the bottom, but 438p is a very good price you bought imho. A news release tomorrow will see this shoot up to 480p in a single day trading. If this gets to 400p, I will have to sell some of my investments elsewhere and top up significantly here.

Could be a small bounce from here for the agile traders.

So what are you thinking?
Do you expect it to continue down and to what point?
