26/11/2020 11:10 | Obvious Question pops up ,where is Roger tamraz getting the 200 million from?.If he has or has access to such a large amount, what was the share sale nonsense all about.Even more interesting is why did he choose Petrel resources ,what have we got that is possibly of value. | bronislav
26/11/2020 10:59 | Isobel dos santos an extremely wealthy shareholder in Eurobic doesnt exactly have the best of reputations way back in March Transparency International welcomes a recent decision by Portugal's Central Court of Criminal Investigation to order the seizure of all assets held in the country by Isabel dos Santos, businesswoman and daughter of the former President of Angola | scunny bunny

25/11/2020 21:44 | From cuddles48 on LSERE: Pet.Today 18:36Well I am hearing that Roger Tamaraz is up to 47.5% in the agreed sellers of the shareholding in Eurobic bank. This is an extract from a news report. promissory agreement signed with Isabel dos Santos foresees that the Libyan investor Roger Tamraz can cancel the deal if he does not acquire over 50% of EuroBic's stake. The Libyan investor Roger Tamraz, who has already reached an agreement with Isabel dos Santos to take the 42.5% stake of the Angolan businesswoman in EuroBic, may drop the deal if he can't stay acquire the majority of the bank's stake, according to Jornal Económico. This situation is foreseen in the promissory agreement signed between Isabel dos Santos and Tamraz, forcing the Libyan investor to negotiate and convince other shareholders of the bank to sell him their shares. However, this may not happen.Roger Tamraz confirms interest in EuroBicRead MoreContrary to what happened with Abanca, this time there is no alignment of interests between EuroBic shareholders, which makes the outcome of this process more uncertain.Fernando Teles, who holds 37.5%, revealed to Valor Económico that there are about 12 interested investors in the bank and that the sale process will take place "in the coming months".Im told today the central bank has asked all the other shareholders to sell. To Roger Tamaraz group. I'm also aware that once this bank takeover is complete then it's back to sort out Petrel and get control with the agreement of the board. So maybe that's why a few have been buying in at these mega low prices as it might not be long before we get some movement. It's well worth a punt. In my opinion. | ajj2003
25/11/2020 21:32 | I am once more totally confused. Todays trading was certainly odd. Somebody wants to buy our shares. | ducky fuzz
25/11/2020 21:29 | No idea Ducky, just posting an interesting LSE article. Netoil have very diverse holdings in oil and gas, property and banks so fits the profile. Whether or not they would use Petrel for this purpose I honestly do not know but certainly not beyond the realms of possibility. As always dyod and should be fun finding out once Tamraz has control of Eurobic and turns his attentions to Petrel. | ajj2003
