28/10/2020 17:13 | "Odds on and sooner than you think".Words from Mr Horgan that suggest that some assurance about a deal/deals is on the table. The share price has had some strange movements over the last few months suggesting shares being moved about and not just by the small private investors. | bronislav
28/10/2020 17:07 | The Sage... Good point...however if the future is anything like the past 20 yrs I think, with patience, they will be bought back at a lot lower price than this. | exile
28/10/2020 16:59 | Fantasists can still dream on the La La Land thread.... "The Sage 28 Oct '20 - 16:29 - 17821 of 17821 This is very near the lowest we’ve been in the last year. Not a bad price to buy back the disputed shares, especially if you know what the future holds." Conveniently forgetting the CP "could not or would not " PET directors words , afford the undisputed shares at about 1p a share! So they would have no intention of paying 3.6p ...... DOH .... | fenners66
28/10/2020 16:29 | This is very near the lowest we've been in the last year. Not a bad price to buy back the disputed shares, especially if you know what the future holds. | the sage

28/10/2020 11:39 | Good day fenners Ref Post 13728 Given you thoughts about spreading the costs one assumes that the BOD would want to save clon. If they were unable to what is to stop them forming another company and raising funds. They have had a lot of practice so not a problem, raising the cash may be but then again there are always those ready to invest in the dream. | bracke
28/10/2020 11:16 | Quiet on here...Have Horgan and Teeling come out of their meeting with the Iraqi Oil Minister yet ?? | exile
28/10/2020 09:46 | Talk on clon thread of them going bust.... so One of the problems for 162 , with which they have backed themselves into a corner, is that they have set up multiple businesses to spread around the costs and their remuneration. Whilst none of the quoted companies have made even a sale for about 10 years - (how can they even still be companies!) the directors have continued to charge salaries and expenses spread across them. So if they do get around to closing down one or more of the failures - then if they continue to incur costs and charge the remuneration that they have been accustomed to - then the burden falls greater on the (currently non-trading) companies that are left, thus focusing the losses in a smaller area. That may just grab "gamblers" attention and accelerate the demise of the rest..... One might consider that having a small group of directors set up - 4 quoted and at least one other unquoted company - these multi-companies indeed just for that purpose , costs spread , losses shared , keep the shareholders separate and maybe they will not notice. So does one loss making company closure bring down the rest ? Can they allow that to happen ? | fenners66
27/10/2020 20:56 | Lippe, lots of proverbial fingerprints on the PET phial. #jimjonesinvestorscl | the diddymen
27/10/2020 14:50 | Thanks kd for the positive feedback. Onwards and upwards ;) | ajj2003
27/10/2020 14:36 | DF, it IS correct:). It's down to whether the CP can make it happen by then (and I have no details on how they intend to do this). | kdickson
27/10/2020 14:31 | The La La Land thread has given up reading tea leaves and has started talking to horses now.... I'm sure talking to horses is not illegal and could not be construed as insider dealing in any way so that's all good - but talking to animals cannot be a sane way of investing surely? Then is that thread sane anyway ? | fenners66
27/10/2020 14:23 | That sounds very similar to what cpap man used to say. Was that your name in a previous life? | the sage
27/10/2020 14:20 | So if Kd's info is correct then action within the next 8 weeks :-) DF | ducky fuzz

27/10/2020 13:45 | And does anyone really believe the CP will be taking over PET at 4p and above ???? I don't. They may consider it at 0.04 p They are clever Billionaire businessmen after all. | exile
27/10/2020 13:39 | The share price will be the truth teller...... Oh I believe KD, not that, just depends where the info comes from. | elmfield |
