argyle nope dude, they have been selling for ages, share price has been muted because of them, it is at multi-year lows. So I slightly disagree with your view... 45p to 18p is partly their doing IMO

Blackrock down to 6.16% Only another 15 working days and they'll be sold out at this rate ;-)
It is testament to the amount of interest in PDL at this valuation though. Despite such a large holder deciding to exit it's position for whatever reason, the market is happy to absorb the stock and even raise the price a little.

Someone bigger is buying now all sellers have dried up and it's a nice longer term bet. I sold at mid 40's when I was trading it last time so back in at half price now.

Not really robbed, just giving people time to build positions. A seller doesn't change the fundamentals of the company, just the timeline for the share price.

Petra through the worst, says Berenberg
Berenberg has upgraded Petra Diamonds (PDL) as it believes the worst is over for the miner.

Analyst Richard Hatch upgraded his recommendation from ‘hold’ to ‘buy’ and increased the target price from 23p to 25p as he believes the ‘worst is largely over for Petra and, with the free cashflow inflection beginning to occur, we think the shares will rerate in line as more stable operational and financial performance comes through’.

He said that Petra ‘still needs to rebuild investor confident’ but said operational delivery and consistent free cashflow generation over the next 18 months would reassure.

‘With operations and cashflow stabilising, we believe it is time to revisit the story and begin building a position, or adding to existing holdings,’ said Hatch.

The shares were trading at 17.8p yesterday.
