Would give 0 stars if I could. The worst builders on the planet and its directors are the greediest. I don't know how this company is still going. They should be forced to cease building any more shoddy homes and prosecuted for the sh ite they have already cobbled together.

No wonder you're quiet on them.

The housing market/HB newsflow has been as predicted. Your hindsight opinions are laughable.

Sikhthetech,

You are clueless and have absolutely no idea of how the property market works.

Now, when is your each and every year's (for the last 6 years) house price crash gonna happen?
Lol, just lol!

You are not credible.

"Just to add that I’ve made 4 site visits today across 3 different house builders"
"All were very buoyant on the future and have seen a steady tick up"

So you visited 4 sites pre-lunch, as you've been posting this pm.

Site managers will always tell you that the future is buoyant.
After all did those site managers tell you over the past 2 years that housing market looks uncertain and building has slowed?

Just to add that I've made 4 site visits today across 3 different house builders (1 Persimmon). All were very buoyant on the future and have seen a steady tick up in sales in recent months. Hopefully PSN will be back towards 2000p within a year. GLA

The problem is higher mortgage costs, especially for those thousands coming off fixed 2-5year mortgages and were paying significantly lower rates.

They will filter through slowly. The number of homeowners with severe mortgage debt has also increased, as expected.

The govn has huge debt, as do businesses and individuals.

I think we'll continue to see housing market uncertainty.

Halifax: UK house prices ‘plateauing’ due to rising mortgage rates

The annual spring bounce in UK house prices did not occur in April, according to Halifax. It blamed the Bank of England’s interest rate freeze for the inflation stagnation.

Cupra,

"The share price is still very very cheap Added"

You were saying they were cheap and adding when the share price was over 2000p 2 years ago!!! Whilst I was posting about the housing market/HB challenges. My stated PSN target price of 1300p-1500p.

The company/sector newsflow has been as expected

Those who shorted and then traded would have done better than those who simply added all the way down.

They share price is still very very cheap in my opinion but at circa 1000p they were an absolute steal. Well done to those that took advantage with lots more to come over the next 12-36 months.

For those who don't understand the fallout from GFC.

The govn hasn't got money to offer potential homebuyers big schemes like Help to Buy.

Huge debt held by govns.

"Taxpayer to fork out £85bn to cover Bank of England losses
Taxpayers will cover £85bn of losses made by the Bank of England on its quantitative easing programme which began during the global financial crisis.

Losses are mounting from the £895bn bond-buying scheme carried out between 2009 and 2021, which was designed to support the economy from the worldwide economic malaise triggered by the Lehman Brothers collapse and then the pandemic.

The programme had reduced the Treasury’s budget deficit until 2022 but higher interest rates have reversed that effect.

The Bank of England is in the process of getting the bonds off its books but £704bn of gilts remain.

Quantitative easing will lose about £20bn a year until the early 2030s, according to the latest estimates by the Bank of England, which is equivalent to a third of the defence budget."

Sikhthetech,

At least 30% pay cash for their properties in the UK and those remaining have less than a 95% LTV ratio.
As your always banging on about an affordability crisis, lol!
Please provide a breakdown of the figures because you seem to imply that you know every individual's debt value, lol!
