01/2/2024 16:15 | Sikhthetech, Especially for you. Will the new FD, if they find one, answer the impairment charge question? Beckers20081 Feb '24 - 16:10 - 1168 of 1168 Edit "Totally plc (AIM: TLY), a leading provider of frontline healthcare services, corporate fitness and wellbeing services across the UK and Ireland, announces that the Company's Chief Financial Officer, Lisa Barter, has decided to step down from her role with effect from 1st February 2024" She's resigned with immediate effect! No other way to put it... looks like TLY are in a whole lot of trouble. | beckers2008
01/2/2024 15:38 | I thought the experts here said there would be a rate cut ? 2 BOE still looking to increase…..and boats doing three point turns, minimum wage up 10% in April, wars etc | kreature
01/2/2024 15:35 | ….the EMC can prob put their new build estate management fees up their Persimmon. | kreature
01/2/2024 15:26 | That fleecehold estate management fee looks like an unregulated scam at first glance? Any thoughts. No limit as to how much it can go up by. Should all be worried really cos if the fees go up on social housing I guess the regular council tax will have to increase to pay for it? | kreature
01/2/2024 15:20 | Estate management fees on new builds being labelled’fleec | kreature
01/2/2024 12:45 | As expected BoE kept interest rates unchanged. Crucially 2 members still voted for an increase. The BoE Governor expects inflation to increase later this year. | sikhthetech
01/2/2024 00:34 | This is becoming a thing | kreature
31/1/2024 16:46 | As expected, ghost developments. 6000 incomplete houses across 61 developments. Over 6,000 incomplete ‘ghost houses’ across London as property market takes downturn Half-built homes abandoned at a time of severe housing shortages across capital "Thousands of homes under construction have been left abandoned at stalled “ghost housing developments” across London as a result of last year’s sudden downturn in the property market, the Standard has learned. At the year end, construction work at 61 house-building sites where at least 20 homes are due to be completed had been halted with the gates padlocked. Together they accounted for just over 6,000 half-built homes at a time of severe housing shortages across London." sikhthetech - 25 Oct 2023 - 12:20:18 - 4789 of 5247 PERSIMMON PLC With major affordability problems, Help to Buy ending, interest rates to remain high for longer, there's likely to be ghost developments. When that occurs HBs have to reduce prices and/or increase incentives. Either reduces margins. I think we'll see more divi cuts here. | sikhthetech

29/1/2024 17:54 | Where is 'Sikhthetech'? Has it run scared, lol! Totally! Silent on TLY, lol, just lol! | beckers2008
25/1/2024 14:43 | It will break eventually. Markets look a little toppy at present so I would expect some retracement or sideways movement and maybe another sharp move thereafter. | cupra kid
25/1/2024 12:00 | The £15 level is going to take a bit of breaking through as there seems some selling at this level ,but when it does there is little resistance up to £18 imo . | winner31
24/1/2024 16:51 | Is hyperinflation is a possibility because feels like the solutions are impossible? Boats going round the long way, redundancies ticking up, minimum wage going up, food inflation at 8%. Economy prob has to be broken so they can bring in the all digital currency? | kreature
24/1/2024 16:26 | More people leaving Santander when the opportunity arises then. Lots of cheaper deals elsewhere that by the sounds of things will get cheaper still in the second half of the year. | cupra kid
24/1/2024 15:49 | Following on about interest rates. Santander have increased some of their mortgage rates. Santander ups mortgage rates despite fierce competition One of the UK's biggest banks, Santander, has raised mortgage rates despite fierce competition among lenders in recent weeks. Santander will nudge up rates by up to 0.20 percentage points on some fixed rate products from Wednesday. It bucks wider trends with Nationwide among the latest to reduce rates. Analysts said they still expect the benchmark interest rate to be cut this year despite worries about inflation. The move by Santander came after official figures recently showed that inflation, which measures the rate at which prices rise, unexpectedly ticked up to 4% in December. | sikhthetech
24/1/2024 13:02 | I'm not expecting a cut in base rates just yet. The fact from the last BoE interest rate decision, no one voted for a cut, yet 3 voted for a rise, so 6-3 for hold. It'll only take a major change of thinking for those 3 who voted for a rise to suddenly want a cut. Likewise, it'll take a a big change of thinking for there to be voting in favour of a cut. The huge debt crisis, property businesses on the verge of collapse, as mentioned in the link posted by Kreature, is a big concern for property, construction. | sikhthetech
24/1/2024 08:52 | You might. But you're the only one. Not a chance that interest rates go up next week. Only a small chance they'll fall. Inflation will take a tumble in a couple of months and again over the summer with the forecast drops in energy prices. Inflation expected to fall below 2% this year. On the Martin Lewis Money Show they predicted a modest decline in house prices this year, before they rise again in 2025, with interest rates to stabilise at around 3%. | davius
24/1/2024 08:28 | BOE interest rate decision 1st Feb. I think they’ll put the rate up to counter the banks lowering rates | kreature
24/1/2024 08:16 | From that article . Borrowers should not panic as its unlikely this will be a trend and overall across the year, predictions are for rates to fall further". Mortgage rates hit record highs in 2023 as the Bank of England raised interest rates in an attempt to rein in rising prices. | winner31
23/1/2024 21:30 | Not sure if this is of interest here ? | kreature
23/1/2024 21:18 | Beckers2008 - 12 Dec 2023 - 17:55:17 - 1127 of 1157 Sikhthetech, You gotta admit, I do know my stuff, don't I... Evidently as below. ""Beckers2008 - 15 Sep 2023 - 07:50:16 - 891 of 1127 Sikhthetech, Seen the TLY share price lately, lol! Now 7.8p on the Bid. I did warn you at 40p and 14p but you didn't listen, as expected, lol, just lol! Going to 5p?"" | beckers2008 |
