The profit's are not high at all - so they are not making the best use of their accounting skills & evaluations on each project / contract they win - market has little or no confidedence in this BoD's

...but the company DID make a profit last year - a sharp turnaround from the prior year loss... of course whether PPR is making a profit on all their contracts or whether the margins should be far higher is another question...
It's going to be an interesting few weeks ahead imo

Take a read of the BoD's previous working history on Falanx PLC - then ask yourselves why PPR is cappaed at £1m & FLX at £10m & in the same business

PPR BoD's have failed to make a profit on many of their contracts ,why? - bad management perhaps - so mr mkt isn't interested in buying into the shares - which is why the stever brokthers tried a professional ramp last year with the famous Thales contract that went no where

Seems like we are the only two on here at the moment which is a shame considering the brilliant results and earnings per share at 3.5p! Just worries about working capital holding this back for the time being - a little higher risk now until news but no way would I like to be out of this share as we both know how much it can move in a day gl

The AGM letter is now on the website. There's a resolution to issue new shares for £ 74,000 nominal value (double last years resolution) which is 66.7% of the current share issue... Seems like they are lining up an equity issue next month following the AGM imo. Depending on the placing price (presuming I am correct) the share price could move sharply up OR down on confirmation.... tempted to add at this level but rather wait for funding news first... gla

Well I expected 15p today here but seems like the buy v sell ratio was similar and can't really complain since I added quite a few at 7.6p - hopefully a gradual move upwards over the next few weeks gla

I don't think I will ever understand the stock market

the earnings are littered with ifs, buts and howevers, just days after a profit warning yet the share price rises,

I like how the company has performed but they seem over cautious, why! why no confidence, I don't like how he uses the word "me" in the statement, the earnings should be written as if the company is releasing the news not like a letter

annoyed I missed a chance here but well done to everyone who got in low

RESULTS OUT
Great turnaround from loss to £300k plus profits
Earnings 3.5p so PE of 3 !
Sales pipeline of £ 19 million with expansion continuing in Africa & America
No placing today either!
Risks
Shareholder loan (down year on year) required to support working capital requirements
Current Assets less than current liabilities (as per 2012) so funding is a must at some point this year...
However moving to larger warehouse might mean future overhead reductions and contract wins (in riskier areas) may ease working capital requirements
Accounts on going concern basis and hopefully any placing might be at a higher share price if share price reflects market value PE ratio (ie. PE of 6 would mean a 21p share price)
Will continue to hold/add acknowledging the risks involved GLA

4screws - apologies I agree cannot believe this thread has not been more active this afternoon - maybe tomorrow? I don't have access to Advfn during trading hours until my smartphone is repaired so just hanging around LSE :-(
Notice the two late trades for 82k and 100k which are massive considering only 11 million shares in issue. Also at 11.8p which suggests a higher open presuming good news (we know the results will be brilliant - it's whether funding is essential and if a placing has been agreed) GLA !!

the important part of results is the forward looking statement, we know that might not be good, or have things improved since the profit warning ?
