11/2/2014 19:46 | Thats, of course, true but..... The fundraising was supposed to be for expansion from a healthy base, not just to prevent the company going under. Never mind, the Thales and Apple contracts will sort everything out and if not, Steve has £200k waiting in the wings....or was that £200? CM. | cheshiremoggie
11/2/2014 14:54 | The company did give forward notice of impending fund raising..... RNS Number : 1791U Pentagon Protection PLC 28 November 2013 RNS ANNOUNCEMENT 28 November 2013 Pentagon Protection plc ("Pentagon" or the "Company") TRADING UPDATE Pentagon Protection plc (AIM: PPR), the glass protection and security products and services specialist, announces that its final results for the year ended 30 September 2013 are expected to be released in the second half of January 2014, and are expected to be in line with market expectations. "We are very happy with this year's results having achieved a profit following improved sales and cost reductions", commented Steve Chambers, Managing Director. "Our sales pipelines are strong in all divisions and whilst we can't guarantee timescale, current indications show a total sales pipeline in excess of GBP16 million for the current financial year which gives us confidence we can meet or exceed our forecast numbers for 2014. We therefore look forward to another successful year in 2014." In view of the anticipated growing market opportunity for Pentagon, in particular in the US, and whilst the Company has sufficient working capital for its current requirements, the Directors believe the Company will benefit from additional capital in order to accelerate organic growth and having explored such, the Directors plan to consider a possible fundraising in the first quarter of 2014, subject to market conditions and the terms being acceptable. - End - | 4screws
11/2/2014 14:26 | great plan.. wait till the last minute, tell everybody they need cash, wait till price drops like a stone, then do a placing | currypasty
11/2/2014 14:13 | well they have managed to mess this up havnt they "which may have an impact on the Company's short term working capital" obviously a cash call is required, my view would be around the 5p - 6p mark not looking good and they need to turn it around quickly as small outfits such as this do not last long without working capital | traidemark
10/2/2014 18:14 | Well I am concerned - first because hardly anyone is posting here even after a RNS! Of course it is good news that the results will be outstanding. However the company is trading below budget (although we have no idea what is the internal profit forecasts)and there may be an impact on short term working capital... But why am I worried? Simple - not one mention or hint that there is an equity placing in the works - what happens if the company is unable to agree one? A deeply discounted director backed placing? High interest loans? Hopefully the outlook will be enough to encourage the market markers to agree to the fund raising... | knigel
10/2/2014 11:16 | some good some only fair | soft t
10/2/2014 11:09 | RNS ANNOUNCEMENT 10 February 2014 Pentagon Protection plc ("Pentagon" or the "Company") Trading update and notice of results Pentagon Protection plc (AIM: PPR), the glass protection and security products and services specialist, announces that its final results for the year ended 30 September 2013 are now expected to be released by 21 February 2014 and are expected to be materially higher than market expectations. Whilst Pentagon's Board of Directors is pleased with the results for the year ended 30 September 2013, trading in the current financial year has so far been below budget. The sales pipelines for each of the Company's three divisions continue to be strong and the Board is confident that a good number of projects will be converted into orders. There is an uncertainty however in the timing of these conversions which may have an impact on the Company's short term working capital. | euclid5
03/2/2014 22:00 | I did ask that question... and they said no. US subsidiary yes | algorithmicx
03/2/2014 18:11 | Thanks for this - the US subsidiary (I presume) isn't that big so I hope there is not a "reason" for the audit taking longer than expected.. | knigel
03/2/2014 13:51 | Results now due within next two weeks.... "holdup due to audit taking a bit longer than expected of the us subsidiary." All straightforward.... | algorithmicx
31/1/2014 18:29 | Same boat here Knigel. Out as soon as possible. Will even go with a loss. | derektrade33
31/1/2014 18:10 | Fuming - if a shareholder gets a phone call saying there will be a RNS this week and then it does not appear (and a previous RNS stated results s/b January) isn't this a lie? I sent an email yesterday and did not get a reply - if there is not news by Tuesday I will look elsewhere to put this money instead of sitting in this dead duck - angry!!! | knigel
31/1/2014 07:08 | Well maybe the results are due at 6pm tonight !! ?? | knigel
30/1/2014 07:33 | Wrong! They are leaving it late.. | knigel
29/1/2014 17:12 | 7am tomorrow imo! | knigel
29/1/2014 09:40 | I sent an email to Steve Chambers last week. Email read but no reply. Not going to waste my time with him and his poor investor relations. I hope we hit big news so I can sell out. | derektrade33
29/1/2014 09:15 | Company Secretary just confirmed "an announcement will be made this week" over the phone..... | algorithmicx
25/1/2014 11:01 | Well the company is leaving it late to report in January. I presume next Thursday is now the favourite day for the results? Maybe the delay relates to sorting out the funding details... | knigel
23/1/2014 22:24 | Seems like 2% of the share issue picked up over the last two days... Some of the trades were identical (25k or 20k) or may be the same buyer? Added myself as perhaps there's a leak on the results or the funding? | knigel
23/1/2014 16:10 | A window of opportunity Pentagon Protection plc is an AIM listed company providing a variety of solutions focused on the security of assets and buildings through the provision, installation and project management of protective window film and the distribution of highly specialised security and search equipment. Unfortunately, over recent years the group has generated volatile revenues and repeated losses. However, the group appointed a new Managing Director in November 2010 who has re-galvanised the business, provided sales and marketing focus and in the process transformed the group's prospects. In the six months to 31 March 2013 the group achieved its first positive EBITDA and PBT since 2004 and looks set to deliver a positive outcome for the year as a whole. The order book and prospect pipeline also look encouraging and there appear to be numerous opportunities to build the business in the UK and overseas. Although there is still much to do we are encouraged by the progress to date and initiate coverage with fair value of 25p which would put the shares on a 2013/14 PER of 8x. | 4screws
23/1/2014 12:42 | I notice the Pentagon website has been updated.First time I've been on for a while. Does anyone know when they done this? Usually a good sign | derektrade33
