Wolfhound....Many thanks. Forgive me for being "Glass half empty" but I've learned by hard experience and some cost that until the ink is dry on a contract it can't be counted on. I do believe that the U.S. will legalise online gambling and that will benefit we PAYS shareholders.....my reticence just stems from the fact the various legislatures are up against tight time scales given the Presidential Election ....New York was a prime example where online gambling was kicked into touch until the next session. I do hope that California and Pennsylvania can beat the clock but I'm not counting on it and maybe others shouldn't too.....but what IS important is not whether the glass is half full or half empty but, who is paying for the next round?Hopefully PAYS will be!

Wolfhound.....I wonder if you could explain this? "see new highs off the back of the announcement in NY - bear in mind California looks to be going same way"While DFS Bill has gone to the Governor the New York online gambling bill wasn't passed and California has just agreed to a two week delay in order to overcome opposition.I'm just wondering where your research is coming from?

Looking good - very nice W chart pattern building - I expect we will see new highs off the back of the announcement in NY - bear in mind California looks to be going same way.

California may say still make it. Suspect though that dfs will be worth at least as much to paysafe in the medium term as paysafe stayed in as a processor for much longer when vantiv and others pulled out.

DFS bill goes to Gov. Cuomo who has ten days to either sign or veto it. Given the support it received in the Senate and Assembly it seems likely he will approve it. Online gambling not included in the 'Big Ugly' ....the end of session scramble to pass legislation in an omnibus bill.I'm confident that New York will legalise online gambling at some stage but I hope people haven't been relying on this happening during this session as it was always going to be difficult to force through.

The share price graph is looking interesting - having bounced off the support level of 365p - a "W" structure looks to be forming - if this plays out we will be looking at new highs in the next month or so - perhaps the US on-line gambling bills will prove to be the catalyst

New York state has a population of 20M people, so quite a nice size. California has 38M.

Looks like it is now only a matter of time before DFS is approved - key seems to be defining them as games of skill rather than chance :

hxxp://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/n-y-pols-reach-deal-fantasy-sports-websites-open-article-1.2675520

If that is the case then - in-line poker is definitely a game of skill rather than chance - 2016 looking very very good.

Spot on Melf - and if as seems to be the case On-line poker is approved in NY/CAL/Penn etc... then this reduces further the discount to peers( as now a regulated business) and will put us at a premium given market dominance in this space.

so my prediction is :

PBT for 2017 of $300mn profit x 30 = $9bn = £5/6bn or approx 3 times the current share price so I would say

£10/12

Reality check........

Given that we are in bargain territory I thought it was worth posting Edison's April note again.

Since the note was issued, the company have advised that revenue and EBITDA for 2016 will be ahead of expectations at $950M-$970M and $270-$276 respectively. On this basis it's probably safe to assume that the 2017 figures will be revised up and if there was no further M&A activity, the company is likely to be virtually debt free by the end of 2017.

The likelihood is that there will be more earning enhancing acquisitions before then. Plus the immense potential from US online poker/gambling.

This company is a cash machine and I am a very happy long term holder particularly as I've been able to top up in 360s recently.

Any guesses what the share price will be on 31.12.17?
