Heli, you'll have to explain the head and shoulders comment, sorry. Not great with charts but learning from those that post

Hi Stuart
I would expect a trading update for H1 2016. I'd be surprised if there wasn't one. Also, may be an opportune time to steady some nerves.

Melf,
We effectively had a trading update on May 25th so not sure they will be issuing another so soon.

Give this a few weeks, Pi's will click on and come back. It's following the FTSE250 at the moment and Pi's still have fear installed but it will settle and bounce

Bought more. Like most businesses with revenues mostly in other currencies it should go up, not down with the exchange rate.

Interest thoughts captured in this piece by Seeking Alpha

....in summary a likely source of a take out could be none other than VISA as a means to go head to head with PayPal

now that would be interesting.......especially as Visa shelved their investment in Monotise last year as their route to digital payment space.

Guess Visa will want to complete the buy-out of Visa Europe members that is currently under way before doing any bolt on....watch this space......

P.S. I stand corrected Visa have just completed the deal as of the 21/06/16

I'd echo LW425's comments 84buffalo. In volatile markets and when there are signigficant one-off events like last Friday, automated stop losses are asking for trouble. I would have recommended removing the stop losses before the market opened on Friday am. Hope you didn't lose too much buffalo.

yes it is.

a stop loss means an instruction to the market to sell when a price hits a level determined by you.

the actual price you get depends on the next best quote in the market. in theory your shares could be sold for 0.1p

the only way to be sure is to use GSL's. Guaranteed Stop Losses that some Spread Betting firms offer, but you pay for these.

never use normal stop losses, never, never ,never. you are asking to have your pockets picked.

the way the market gapped down 30% on ftse 100 stocks was criminal. those responsible should be locked up.

an expensive lesson that you'll never repeat i'm sure

I'm fairly new to investing so would appreciate your views on this. I placed stop losses on my holdings in anticipation of the effects of the vote to leave the E.U. As expected the markets went down soon after opening. I was hoping to buy them back as they continued to fall past my stop loss but my stocks were sold at prices well below my stop loss. Is this correct?
Thanks.

Looking at stocks on Friday to buy and PAYS still ticks the most boxes for me in this new environment, not necessarily meaning it will go North. The FD showing confidence also with other board members recently. If ever there was stockpickers market.

Indeed. Paysafe is probably as good as it gets in terms of Brexit safety

With much of Paysafe already headquartered in Bulgaria (in EU) and Vienna (EU) we have about the best possible legal structure at our disposal to ensure eg Paysafe's pan-european acquiring is not impacted in the slightest by Brexit. Others have already pointed out that only 5% of revenues are in £.

Swings and roundabouts then.Pound and sterling down. Dollar up,Generally good news. I agree that it makes Pay an attractive buy at current prices

Guys - this from the final results. once the market wakes up next week this should rocket past 400p.

The Group reports in US dollars. Following the acquisition of Skrill, approximately 30% of pro-forma H2 2015 fee revenue7 is denominated in Euros, approximately 40% in US dollars and approximately 5% in British pounds

Asia & ROW making up the balance.

Indeed RH9 - I wonder if those plans have just been accelerated by the UK electorate...... as you say lets wait and see but I doubt we will need to wait til prelims in Aug

The board will already be working on the next deal as they flagged it at prelims. This may involve a merger, acquisition or being taken over. Wait and see....

I don't think it is the final hurdle, but they are feeling upbeat about getting a pass (They need 2/3 to pass it) at the Assembly. I think the final hurdle is the Senate. It stalled at the Assembly stage last year and we have to recognise the success in neighbouring states so you never know!

To my way of thinking - PAYS just became a prime target for acquisition by an overseas competitor for the following reasons:

* share price down 4.5%
* further 7% saving on the FX rate to the USD
* in reality - 95% + of its business is outside UK
* Regulatory approval in 4 largest economic states in US of On-line Poker increasing looking likely to get approved in 2016
* Skrill integration ( mainland EU) going well
* Cash generation likely to extinguish all debt by 2017 assuming no further acquisitions

Will look very attractive at these prices.

Personally I think the Board are likely to have a strategy here - and that may well be to seek a listing on Nasdaq and leave FTSE behind.....that would be the perfect defensive play IMHO

So watch this space !!

I'm in and still over-exposed EH although my average buy is 238p so I've just lost profit. I'm still confident I'll see my 500p even if it takes a little longer.... then I will buy my island!
