Bwana..... as explained earlier in this thread, since shorters don't ,by definition, own shares they cannot be the holder of record for the share and therefore are not eligible to vote at the AGM against anyone. I hope this clears things up?

Sell in May adage an historical thing, not really relevant to today's inter-connected world. I prefer sell on bad news, buy on good news..

Pays going way, way higher... just too much cash being generated in a rapidly growing sector..

Short on PAYS still at 3.59%.
I think the Shorters voted against JL. I have sold a chunk @ £4.76.
Sell in May and go away and perhaps a Market correction etc.Still hold quite a few.
ATB to all holders.

Wouldn't worry about 3%, it's when it gets to 90%..

Excellent update yesterday. Like the way it was presented. Keeps the market interested...

Perennial votes against remuneration packages at agm. Check the percentages. That was the issue, nothing more.

Since when did shorters get a vote at the AGM.

``Excuse me sir I have minus 3 million shares can I have a vote``

Possible that is true. Even worse that shorters also get to vote

@TEB - the 3%+ not happy with JL at AGM are at a guess the shorters - JL ruined their little party with the share buy back and stellar results - good man JL !!! :)

So all you traders TMPM has told the Drunk (which is why he got so annoyed) that if trade talks have not started by end Oct 2017 all talks cancelled, rock hard Brexit.

Get some cash organised to take advantage of the opps. The ref produced some fantastic bargains, especially in the house builders. filled my boots on one that has doubled and pays a 12% divi.

You heard it here first and no I do not know anything about a pays M&A.

Raymond Chan, Co-Founder and CEO of gaming technology company, TGG Interactive, believes the development of gaming in Japan and the consequent creation of a lucrative $40bn gaming and hospitality market, will add both innovation and creativity to the world gaming industry. "We will also discuss the current situation affecting the international Electronic Gaming market which is accounting for over 70% of gaming revenue in Las Vegas, and the entry barriers to the market from the USA, Europe to Australia and Asia, and soon to include Japan.

Not a new poster so don't get stressed! Just a long term holder who cannot understand how JL ONLY!having 97% support is so bloody tragic!Japan being on the verge of legalising online gambling seems far more interesting!

Today was the agm which was the final element iis wanted to go smoothly in order to support the next strategic move. The agm went smoothly so onwards and upwards. AGMs are never a day to announce a deal or much else other than an inline or slightly upgraded outlook otherwise the firm would compromise getting the agm resolutions voted through and being away for the day the execs would also not be able to handle the demands of an acquisition announcement.

No wonder there was so much sell pressure on Friday as those selling knew there would not be much spectacular news today. Being debt free next year is good news but some dividend news would have lit the rocket today. Golo etc will take time to be really accretive due to huge competition out there. US gamblling legislation is taking forever despite trump. Have made enough money being long for 2 years and also in and out of this company. Sold major holding again at 480p seeing the lack of convincing buy and will wait to get back in at 440-450p levels as it will head there without any news for a few weeks till ?????? the next acquisition news or next results. Made well over 13% from the time I sold on 24/3/17 at 471p as it went up then also without volume. Would have gained nothing if I had just stayed just long. Have gone with the clues the shorts are giving and playing short term in and out. Yes the big jump will come with either a take over or real good acquisition but the big question is when and how long one needs to be patient. Good luck to all longs especially those who have been real patient for the last year or more through bad times and don't feel comfortable trading in and out despite no stamp duty hassle.

I doubt anyone is more impatient for the next bold, accretive, deal than JL.

Low double digit revenue growth is double nets and worldpay. Shareholders are impatient for the next deal hence the 3% dissatisfaction with CEO

Not a great finish price action-wise IMO. Not enough strong demand for the shares at this level. Not a good sign if the share price can't push on higher this week. I do hold a small amount.
