14/12/2016 13:38 | Guess it's a binary option for shorters ahead of thisHaving reiterated its upgraded guidance for the current financial year on 8 November 2016, the Company's business continues to perform well and management is next scheduled to update the market on 12 January 2017.Got to be brave to be short | tsmith2
14/12/2016 13:28 | Trance Man. You are clearly part of the coordinated attack on this share. You know that a line by line rebuttal is exactly what the shorters want, the appearance of the company on the defensive. There are orders in with the MMS and the MMS will facilitate the shorters as much as they can because they want to trade as many as they can. The shorters do it because they know they can do it. You start to post just as the shareprice comes down to last night's close. I know there is no point in asking do you have no shame, you don't. But this does effect people, it is not just accountancy. | polythene

14/12/2016 12:46 | so say 45% of revenues from gambling verticals? how much of this is at risk from anti money laundering regs? the market is concerned and worried. i expect further sharp falls in the equity | trance man
14/12/2016 12:44 | From Interims. Heading: Group revenue and gross profit 'The Group earned 45% of its H1 2016 fee revenue7 from online gambling verticals' and 'The Group has one merchant representing more than 10% of revenue, which contributed 20% of revenue in H1 2016 (H1 15: 29%)' | trance man
14/12/2016 12:34 | The blog's numbers state the MMAG's share of Gross Profit is much lower - 22%. Only by applying at the PBT level does it rise to 50%. Not apples with apples. Also this uses 20% of revenue whereas this has now fallen to 10% (per interims). | hutch_pod
14/12/2016 12:28 | Great point Salpara - NASDAQ listing can't come soon enough and many on this board have been making the point that a NASDAQ listing would also push up the low valuation. | melf
14/12/2016 12:27 | TM - sorry, but since when are you 1) the arbiter for this thread & 2) Since when do you speak for the market?? The well-timed article crafted posted 'drivel' containing some known, dated, facts, inaccurate information, and supposition, from an anonymous source with a stated short position - No vested interest there then!! I see you only joined Advfn on 30 November 2016, any co-incidence? | lomax99
14/12/2016 12:25 | I've mentioned it before but it bears repeating, without a divi the share price has no support. I do think it is time they got a NASDAQ listing as the share price is going to languish for some time without a catalyst. As a previous holder I want to buy back but I have also been heavily hit in the past by a similar short attack so I know that the smell of these things doesn't disappear quickly. Words from management will not repair the share price as can be seen by todays price action. If they had a US listing you can bet your life that Spotlight would not have released this "report" as they would have had the full force of the SEC come down on them. There is a reason why they target companies outside their own jurisdiction. | salpara111
14/12/2016 12:14 | If PAYS pulled out of China ( which they don't have to) they would still be trading on an attractive multiple. Melfs point is a good one | steptoes yard
14/12/2016 12:10 | Suppose 50% of the profit is derived from the Chinese business (highly unlikely) and this was totally wiped out giving EBITDA of say $150M (£120M). The market cap is under £1.5B now - That still looks cheap to me. Am I missing something? | melf
14/12/2016 12:02 | is there a precedent for that type of reaction, or is that wishful thinking? | smcmahon993993
14/12/2016 11:45 | The market demands a full page by page rebuttal of the blog. Until then we're heading SOUTH. | trance man
14/12/2016 11:42 | Where it's heading atack of the shorters on full force. | admin900
14/12/2016 11:38 | Who knows Trance Man. It could be £2.90 Or it could be £3.90. | ricksen
14/12/2016 11:34 | 290p close? | trance man
14/12/2016 11:16 | Yes, their timing was spot on. There had been a gap of several days in any further increases in shorts on shorttracker (had previously been updated every day or two). It was just at that moment looking like the institutional shorters had stopped building their positions and were thinking of closing and that it was time to buy... | jim digriz |
