18/3/2016 11:24 | My advice would be to grow this for as long as it continues to rise at the current rate and then,IF you can find a better prospect, sell a few and buy into that. In that way you can expand your portfolio to 4 - 6 stocks. Any more than that and you might as well be in a fund. | pshevlin
18/3/2016 11:19 | Mandeep share..try reading 'the little book of value investing'by Christopher Browne a great read. There are quite a few titles also in that series. It will do you no harm to read as many books as you can on the subject.personally I read all the time, why not learn from the people who have been investing for years.Good luck. | fourgirls
18/3/2016 11:05 | Mandeep, why move on? - this company is going great guns and will make you plenty of profit - even if you only want to trade the dips. Digital payments market is growing enormously and rationalisation will take place in the sector over next few years. I have looked at DX myself but plenty of risk in that one though good confidence sign of large Director buying last week. You pays your money.......... | stuart37
18/3/2016 10:49 | Not going any where at the moment. Just be good to stay in touch with a few people from this board when I move on to next share. Results day I ended up selling before lunch thinking there would be no significant rise. Daft mistake and ended up buying back in yesterday morning seeing the rise in share price | mandeep share
18/3/2016 10:01 | Why, where are you going? | pshevlin
18/3/2016 09:57 | Hi guys. I was wondering if I could leave my email here and if I could chat to some of you guys regarding shares etc as I believe it's a learning curve. This has been my 1st purchase and I've made some mistakes along the way but it be handy stay in touch with some guys especially wolfhound, malcomm, pshevlin, eh 9 and napleonWould this be ok? | mandeep share
18/3/2016 09:43 | I think we may well see share price tick up very stronly into close today ahead of FTSE250 tracker buying come monday - many tracker funds normally publish NAV around mid-day ; so may well start selling the stocks leaving and buy those entering around mid-day today as those buys will feature in next Monday's NAV. should be a great day | wolfhound1
18/3/2016 09:43 | your link bared bones does not work! | ali47fish
18/3/2016 09:05 | Or Ted Baker, up 408% in 5 years with a great dividend, run your profits imo | malcolmmm
18/3/2016 09:02 | You probably wouldn't have fallen in love with Microsoft or Apple either then? | pshevlin
18/3/2016 08:42 | Strength since results has been impressive. I have set a limit order to exit at 445, not because I don't believe they can run further but I will have made a solid 25% at that point and I usually take a profit at that level. I'm not saying that I wouldn't buy back in again if the share price eased back as I do think they have a great future but it is always important not to fall in love with a stock. | salpara111
18/3/2016 08:11 | That's my target QS99 and always has been! I was over exposed here so I have top sliced a little but still PAYS remains my largest by far in my portfolio as I still see this as a long-term investment. Roll on Monday and Trackers buying in! | jarega85
18/3/2016 06:30 | Roll on a fiver... | qs99
18/3/2016 00:17 | DX. - VERY cheap. Big director buys recently, other large trade yesterday - 1 million shares. If turnaround & expansion continue this could regain their previous range c.80p. Doubled my stake & bought some more @ 22p. Not risk free. A lot of smart money there. One neg there is on DX. is that it provides zero hedging/cover on value of £St. No export sales, no turnover in $ or €. | napoleon 14th
17/3/2016 23:34 | im about 8 years from retiring and not a trader but someone who researched good stocks to hold for as long as possible, its not a huge amount but a 5 figure sum in paysafe,i gave up funds about 8 months ago to research stocks, my main priorities are price to book prefer below 1, think paysafe is around 7, and to be a fundamental and a technical investor at the same time. its ok thinking you have a great company, but unless the rest of the public thinks the same you wont get the growth, just the annual dividends from its steady profits, i also have stocks in glencore, moss bros, regenersis and gvc holdings. | 1stuartstuart
17/3/2016 22:55 | 1stuart, remember one of the key aspects of trading is to run your winners. As Wolf' highlights there's lots to be encouraged about here and with the FTSE 250 entry on Monday it would seem odd not to wait for that to unfold imo. You could always sell a little if it makes you more comfortable, 'top slice' as it's often referred to, when a position becomes too large for one reason or another, a 'slice' is sold Chart wise it doesn't look overbought yet, but again, it's your call. | whymps2
17/3/2016 21:36 | Thanks Fourgirls - enjoy the merlot !! 1stuartstuart - timing is hard to call if you do see the need to take profits but bear in mind the following: * trackers won't officially buy in til Monday * gapped up on open for last two days and hit new highs * we have seen Berenger up its target price in last day to 470p so even in short term there is still some in the tank here. One philosophy I like is to at least keep my profits rolling - especially in a stock like this - just think if you said 9 months ago that this stock would be at 430p when it was down 212p you would have been laughed off the board - yet here we are. Onwards and upwards good luck in whatever course of action you take | wolfhound1
17/3/2016 19:32 | Napleon what's your view on DX. ? | mandeep share
17/3/2016 19:29 | I think it was a reported trade, viz.: the sum total of what a broker did during the day. | napoleon 14th
17/3/2016 19:16 | The market closes at 16.30 for everyone. (apart from closing auction) | libertine
17/3/2016 17:48 | advice folks, 40% of my portfolio is paysafe, im considering selling some in morn, as you know most funds buy after 1630 when price is lowest, saw a big sell after 1630 by fund manager, what do you think | 1stuartstuart
17/3/2016 17:39 | I actually sold some! About £2K Worth, which ia minute part of my position, 'cos I couldn't resist another slice of DX. Keeping the vast majority long term unless something goes wrong, which I doubt. | napoleon 14th
17/3/2016 16:44 | This is my 1st stock trade. It's been a rocky ride but a great learning curve and must say some sensible heads in the room cheers guys | mandeep share
17/3/2016 16:34 | I am with you on the Merlot front this evening I will be definitely raising a glass. I bet yesterday morning's naysayers are kicking themselves now most of them missed a rise of 25-30p per share lol! What a great company this is and long may their success continue. | the juggler |
