17/2/2016 10:00 | Good rise on the share price at the moment nice to see that for a change | vantare7
17/2/2016 09:07 | aspex: Using your formula you should not often buy shares - if ever, and certainly do not rush. Never have a broad portfolio, just the one or two that you are "super sure" about. Always have way more cash than shares. "If only" I followed that advice. lol. I do have the "one or two I'm super sure about" its the rest that got me into a pickle. | netcurtains
17/2/2016 09:03 | Thanks guys. Trading is a learning curve day by day but some times you'll learn from others experiences. | mandeep share
17/2/2016 08:47 | Some help for Mandeep (post 1225) from Will Rogers “There is one rule that works in every calamity. Be it pestilence, war or famine, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. The poor even help arrange it. but it’s just as Mr. Brisbane and I have been constantly telling you, ‘Don’t gamble’; take all your savings and buy some good stock, and hold it till it goes up, then sell it. If it don’t go up, don’t buy it.” | ![]() aspex
17/2/2016 08:27 | Mandeep share - if only share trading were that easy. Me thinks you need to study some charting signals before you end up bankrupt. Best to pretend before you do it for real. | ![]() stuart37
17/2/2016 08:01 | Two weeks today will be confirmed in ftse 250 | ![]() eh9
17/2/2016 07:19 | Anyone know of a good share that you can play the cycle. Sell on the peaks and buy on the dips? Cheers | mandeep share
16/2/2016 21:50 | mandeep - have a look at this link to FTSE 250 companies ; the top 3 by market cap will be promoted up ( likewise 3 will be relegated) - so anyone over £3bn market cap in the period leading up to the 6th March is a possible Highpark - the interesting thing IMHO is the pullback in each comes back to previous support/resistance levels - rallies again to new highs - albeit we have the latest one to play out yet - higher highs and higher lows | ![]() wolfhound1
16/2/2016 19:40 | Anyone recognise a pattern here? free stock charts from uk.advfn.com The FOOTSIE crash in Feb didn't help | ![]() high park
16/2/2016 19:16 | Wolfhound defiantly worth the watch on the "w"Any views on who will make it into the ftse 100 in march? | mandeep share
16/2/2016 16:53 | Worth watching the development of the graph over the next few days in relation to the "W" forming at present - we have bounced off support level of 350p twice in quick succession ( 350p was a resistance level back in Oct/Nov of 2015) - very similar "W" pattern to the low of 212p back in late June 2015 - before we then witnessed a sustained breakout. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | ![]() wolfhound1
16/2/2016 14:46 | IMO Paysafe will not rerate in line with WPG. WPG has way more brand awareness then Pays but i will be happy if we re-rate to a pe of 20. | ![]() stuart37
16/2/2016 13:42 | Nurdin - couldn't agree more !! I think Barclays with their guidance have been suggesting same ( 560-760p) ; at a minimum I would expect that we move to PE of 22 - FTSE250 average - I think the detailed release of full results will greatly assist in that it will highlight : * run rate of EBITDA in H2 - 2015 was $100m so annualised plus growth in 2016 of say 25% = $250 EBITDA * estimate net profits 2016 of say $200mn(£140mn) not too far off a doubling in share price - worth being patient for IMHO - it will happen, and if it doesn't then we will probably see a bid for PAYS. It may take some time for the re-rating to kick in, but I can see that process starting and continuing as we lead up to inclusion in FTSE250. The thing with PAYS historically seems to be it actually needs to happen first and then simultaneously we get the jump in share price despite this being a forgone conclusion - probably no different here as tracker funds by and large will only buy once it is in on the 23rd. ( give or take a few funds that might have sensible wording in their offering documents to cover qtrly index changes. If re-rated in line with WPG then we could be knocking on the door of FTSE100 inclusion ourselves at £3.9bn, although I think that is more likely in 2017 ( driven by Cal/NY approve on-line gambling at a state level, another sizeable acquisition, profit growth of 30%+ p.a. ) GLA GLA | ![]() wolfhound1
16/2/2016 12:55 | WPG trading on a pe of 28x for 2016 .We are at just 15x for simliar growth.High time we got rerated !! | ![]() nurdin
16/2/2016 12:45 | Google finance looks to be correct - LSE are showing a small trade at 8:04:46 for 383.98p 08:04:46 16-Feb-2016 383.98 905 3,474.97 Ordinary trade Looking like a familiar pattern today - dip price in am - level off around 12:30 ahead of US open and rise in the afternoon if US markets are positive. | ![]() wolfhound1
16/2/2016 10:45 | Clearly could breakout of the resistance at anytime, but you also have to exercise caution and be prepared for the downside. With the volatility in the wider market, who knows what the market might do in the next 10 mins, let alone by the time the review is done. | sphere25
16/2/2016 10:38 | That may not continue Sphere. As we get closer to FTSE 250 entry and full year reporting I would expect this to move up by a lot more. | ![]() pshevlin
16/2/2016 10:30 | Google finance clearly not accurate - only hit around 375 this morning. Cracking good trading share this. Buyers in size are acting in the 340's and sellers in size in the 370's. That's the range I'm buying and selling in atm. Volatility can be your friend. | sphere25
16/2/2016 09:54 | strange that we had a spike to 3.83 according to google finance? | stockbob
