04/7/2024 10:05 | We seem to be struggling with these pesky buybacks | ![]() mr.oz
03/7/2024 12:10 | If the company was going to buy back shares, it is a pity that it did not do so when the price was a hell of a lot lower than it is now. But when do companies ever get buy backs right? Only those (very ew) which buy back as a long term strategy for generating shareholder return rather than as an ad hoc measure. | ![]() 1knocker
03/7/2024 11:48 | D'oh! My bad. Just too many numbers swimming iny head, I have several shares around the 500,600p mark.Looks like the buyback was a meaningful 14% of trading volume yesterday. If this continues, should have an influence on the share price going forwards... | ![]() boonkoh
01/7/2024 17:53 | I think you missed the price by a pound again, LOL... Nice momentum this year anyway! | ![]() hericsaba
01/7/2024 14:37 | Could go into fste250 with other companies delistings so holding this back for funds to buy in. Not top of entry list but in top 5 | ![]() rolo7
01/7/2024 14:08 | Again today, strong buys and surge upwards to near 560p, and then drifting back down on sales.Think there is a seller with quite a big chunk dripping. The buyback starting will help to mop up this overhang. | ![]() boonkoh
01/7/2024 07:03 | Commencement of £20m Share Buyback Programme Further to its announcement on 13 June 2024, PayPoint announces that it will launch a share buyback programme to purchase ordinary shares in the capital of the Company for an aggregate consideration of £20m with immediate effect. The Ordinary Shares purchased under the Programme will be cancelled. The maximum number of Ordinary Shares which may be purchased by the Company under the Programme is 7,257,609 and is conditional on the renewal of such authority at the Company's 2024 AGM on 01 August 2024. PayPoint will announce any purchase of Ordinary Shares pursuant to the Programme no later than the business day following the calendar day on which the purchase occurs. PayPoint will make any disclosures it is legally required to make in relation to such transactions. The Takeover Panel has agreed that, under Rule 37.1 of the Takeover Code and the notes to that Rule, Asteriscos Patrimonial SL should be treated as an "innocent bystander" in relation to any increase in its holdings of Shares as a result of the buyback and will not therefore be required to make an offer under Rule 9 as a result of any increase in its holding caused by such a buyback. | ![]() masurenguy
28/6/2024 12:19 | I guess you meant 670p. Nothings a straight line, its been quite overbought so i’d normally expect a pull back but i think the forthcoming Ex Div dates will lend it some support. We’ll probably see a bigger pullback after they’ve passed. | ![]() doom4gloom
28/6/2024 11:36 | Wow, traded at 570p at open today. Clearly appetite to get close to 600p. Pity it's fallen back to 650p so far today, looks like someone is offloading some chunky amount of shares. | ![]() boonkoh
28/6/2024 03:44 | Compared to the share price? Probably, might drop to 5%, who knows. Compared to my average buy in price of 540? Then no.I've been accumulating PAY shares for a while, reinvesting my divi. | ![]() stoopid
27/6/2024 22:48 | @Stoopid, i think thats a reasonable target but wont the dividend % be lower as a result ? | ![]() doom4gloom
27/6/2024 17:43 | Highest close in 28 months ! | ![]() masurenguy
27/6/2024 16:59 | And it's still undervalued. I'm hoping for 800 - 1000 over the next 12/24 months. With reducing debt, the buyback, expanding business opportunities and 100m EBITDA, easily worth that. Not to mention a 7% divi with excellent coverage..... | ![]() stoopid
27/6/2024 12:11 | Just hit a 22 month daily high ! | ![]() masurenguy
27/6/2024 12:03 | Trying to break 450p today | ![]() rolo7
25/6/2024 16:54 | Some resistance at 650p earlier today, with a holder selling out when it hit that level. But looks like that's been exhausted, and tested 650p again on the back of strong buying demand, at the end of the day.Bodes well for tomorrow - the run continues to 700p? | ![]() boonkoh
24/6/2024 09:16 | Tight we might get a bit more info today on the Yodel investment. But it seems like Friday's short announcement might be all we get | ![]() boonkoh
22/6/2024 11:01 | Cheers mr.oz: "we don’t see why institutions wouldn’t bid it back to previous levels of over £10 if they continue to execute." Quote from above article. Be very happy if they are proved right going forward ! | ![]() masurenguy
22/6/2024 11:01 | Thanks. Only comment is that in my view institutions do not drive prices, they tend to buy when the get offered a decent line of stock or get their brokers to bid for stock. So it is private investors that could drive the shares to £10. | ![]() sidam |
