23/8/2006 19:07 | One broker upgrades and it spikes; i thought everyone ignored broker recs!! | omalaha
23/8/2006 16:57 | On the second line, limited newsflow put broker comment in focus, with Paypoint the top riser, up 42 pence to 542, after being upgraded to 'buy' from 'neutral' by UBS on valuation grounds. The broker said while Paypoint's headline valuation is unlikely to ever look compelling, the current share price offers an attractive entry point into a high quality stock with several long-term attractions. | charterhouse3
23/8/2006 15:46 | it's amazing, those 25k sells are having no effect, i wonder if the yanks are buying in. | omalaha
23/8/2006 12:57 | lots of selling but the bid is holding; a very good sign. | omalaha
23/8/2006 10:13 | Coria - i bought in recently because it looked cheap and i reckoned there was a seller. It appears the seller has cleared and a buyer has come on the scene - unless that was your 43398 @ 540p!! Watching L2 it went crazy about 9am. There was a 25k sell at 540p but the MMs are short, so took it gladly. I love outfits that generate loads of cash business and i'm looking for £6 with a trading statement due soon. | omalaha
23/8/2006 09:57 | Hope you're right omalaha....I'm in now, hope this goes all the way back up....I feel it deserves to......obviously! | coria
23/8/2006 09:44 | 600p coming soon? MMs desperate for stock; must be a big buyer. | omalaha
21/8/2006 09:05 | can anyone confirm that a trading statement is due at the beginning of sept? | omalaha
21/8/2006 08:59 | zz - EPY is a really good growth stock imo; excellent one to tuck away as i can't see much downside at the moment. | omalaha
20/8/2006 08:35 | any one here looked at epay EPY.... and if so what do you think TIA | zztop
18/8/2006 11:02 | Looking at l2 this am, 4 MMs moved onto the offer at open. Those who bought late yesterday may have got a bargain. Could be the seller has cleared and this is set to rise. I've bought 2 lots today; v.attractive spread. | omalaha
18/8/2006 08:42 | Slog - I haven't been watching the trading closely; just wondering if an insti hasn't been slowly offloading some over the last month; they do that from time to time, and not necessarily for a negative reason. The market loves cash companies, so if business is in line then this is a buy at 500p imo. The last trading was in march, presumably there's one due in a few weeks then? | omalaha
18/8/2006 08:18 | Can't see the reason for this steady fall , business seems ok no announcements. Summer madness I suppose look to add if falls much lower | slogsweep
17/8/2006 16:03 | i wonder if this is going to test the autumn 480p support, or is it being shorted to 500p; any thoughts anyone? | omalaha
30/6/2006 16:34 | Anything to report from the AGM ? | scotch broth
25/6/2006 13:54 | The agm is this week (I am looking forward to attending). I'll be asking how the TV licence contract is shaping up. There has been a huge buyer mopping up stock - initially at 660p and recently at 640p. This has given a solid floor on the shares. Encouraging noises from the agm will push the share price onwards and upwards. | charterhouse3
18/6/2006 19:10 | In a shop last week I picked up a leaflet on Paypoint detailing their services and how to do it.Good promotion. | scotch broth
08/6/2006 11:50 | My TV licence renewal form arrived today. It presents Paypoint as a major payment option. | scotch broth
07/6/2006 10:21 | Press reports say Paypoint will enter the FTSE250 shortly.Tracker funds will buy in lending some support. | scotch broth
25/5/2006 08:29 | Good results with EPS up to 25p and a positive outlook. In this share the valuation multiple is everything and in these markets it is not risk free.I topped up yesterday and now see the position as hold. | scotch broth
25/5/2006 07:41 | Results out | s50cam
21/5/2006 22:27 | i wonder what % paypoint earns out of each transaction ? | haroldthegreat
17/5/2006 17:43 | Harold. Your comments on Western Union very interesting. Paypoint's final results next week may go someway towards justifying the high valuation if they show strong growth.Meanwhile the share price is riding the current stormy market well, perhaps because it has no exposure to oil and the U.S. | scotch broth
17/5/2006 11:54 | i have not got any opinions, can't understand why these have shot up in the past few months it must be hope that the western union addition to the range of services will put up profits as a previous western union agent, which i ceased to participate in a few years ago ,i found that the paperwork involved whem money laundering rules came in made it a waste of time for the amount of profit earned in each transaction i am staying in because i have seen 100% increase but cant help thinking that the bubble will burst | haroldthegreat |
