Trading statement due in March.Look about fully valued until then.
At least they are not affected by fuel prices , slowdown in US ,slowing retail sales etc.Last report indicated the mgt have ideas for growth.High rating seems deserved.

Well, I didn't buy because ultimately alot of the business will move to the internet IMHO. Plus earnings are forecast to be flattish next year as certain retailers move away from paypoint systems to incorporating it into their retail systems. But that was when the share price was at 350p so WTFDIK :)

I don't know if anybody else read the recent article in one of the financial mags about this share but the writer said that it was very attractive because it was one of the very few shares that had no direct competition.

Let's hope that it stays that way, and I'm quite sure that we all like a quiet thread as well.

Good things for next year I think

V11SLR,

I have to agree, although this seems to be defying gravity!!

Long may it continue.

To update on Cezary's header of 20th October 2004. Details as at 31st March 2005.
17000 outlets up from 14300. +18.9%
14000 retail outlets up from 11900. +17.6%
4800 epos terminals up from 3000. +60%
259 million payments up from 204 million. +27.0%
£2.9 billion in payments up from £2.3 billion. +26.1%

I wonder what they'll be now and with margins up to 38% from 28% this company must be generating cash at a fantastic rate. It's also nice that it doesn't seem to have been noticed yet!

V.Good results (8.4m profit - interim dividend of 3p)

The club's purchase at £2.55p in June of this year appears to have been a bargain. Now with extended licensing hours and the machines in the pubs and off-licences this could be even better next half year.

dont worry about the margins. with profits growing it becomes a takeover target. people are waiting for this co. but if profits go any higher they wont be able to afford it

Mixed messages coming from the co. today, find it a bit worring about the ever shrinking margins.

Read this weekend that pre-paid debit cards are soon to be introduced into the UK for the non-banked sector of the economy. They have been a big hit in America.
